#G0465* - BRITAIN BETRAYED - by Its Incompetent Politicians AGAIN!

#G0465* - BRITAIN BETRAYED - by Its Incompetent Politicians AGAIN!

Hi,

sadly after much tough talk for his domestic audience when the chips were down David Cameron showed his true colours and folded meekly like a wet nappy.

This is the man who has lied to Britain and the world that Britain will stand its ground and does not need a referendum (where the people would vote in a fair informed vote to leave The EU) as he will oppose The EU and make changes ensuring vassal states have more say.

Tell me of ANY organisation, family, Country, individual who can pretend to be in charge of any aspect of its life if it can not even control its own border, bank account, trading contracts, car insurance, international policies, military, police or Governance on ANY aspect of consequence.

We are being betrayed by hugely bribed political charlatans - bribed with our money. Westminster is clearly now just a costly waste of space as it can not make ANY independent laws or policies of consequence.

Rises to cost taxpayer an extra €770m as EU ‘follows Britain’s lead’

David Cameron’s calls for EU spending restraint were dramatically snubbed yesterday when a 4.9 per cent increase in the EU budget was proposed for next year at an extra cost to the British taxpayer of €770 million (about £680 million).
Government sources dismissed the demands as unacceptable and the Netherlands, who will also be net contributors, voiced strong criticism.
But the Prime Minister, who fought unsuccessfully for a funding freeze this year, was told by the European Commission that it was following his example of spending to achieve growth.
The European Parliament is likely to seek an even higher increase in the annual round of horse-trading between capitals, MEPs and the European Commission which will run until the final settlement at Christmas.
The proposals, which would take the annual EU budget to €132.7 billion and Britain’s gross contribution, net of its annual rebate, to €16.45 billion (about £14.,5bn), seemed to ignore a plea from Mr Cameron, Nicolas Sarkozy and Angela Merkel in December to cut back and aim for zero spending growth from 2014.
Janusz Lewandowski, the Polish budget commissioner who drew up the plan, was in a fighting mood when asked why he had not followed the austerity measures of many European governments.
“If someone is criticising us, I have to say that, for example, the UK budget is growing this year. Is this austerity, or is this the growth of a budget?” he said.
“The main reason for the increase is that we must pay the bills coming from projects from across Europe,” he added, referring to grants to poorer regions and funds for research projects that were committed earlier in the seven-year budget cycle.
He argued that the European Commission would freeze its staffing levels and adopt a zero growth on administration. Mr Lewandowski added that 23 of the 27 national EU budgets were rising this year despite austerity measures.
More than two thirds of EU budget spending goes to subsidise farming and for structural projects, mainly in poorer countries and regions, such as road building.
An alliance of net contributor countries, including Britain, France, Germany, Finland and the Netherlands, is expected to dispute the funding plan.
It comes after Mr Cameron was forced to settle for a 2.9 per cent increase this year after failing to win enough backers to freeze spending and in the face of demands from MEPs for 6 per cent extra.
At the time, Mr Cameron said that he hoped to “do better” in 2012 and 2013 with the help of France and Germany, and then to see the budget rise only in line with inflation until 2020.
“We want the best deal for the UK taxpayer and a 4.9 per cent increase in the annual EU budget is not acceptable,” said a British government spokesman in Brussels. “We will be working closely with other member states to drive the hardest possible bargain.”
Jan Kees de Jager, the Dutch Finance Minister, said: “How can we explain to our citizens who are tightening their belts that the European budget simply keeps on growing?
“In the coming months I will work hard towards a substantially lower European budget than proposed by the Commission.”
Member states may target some of the EU’s high-spending initiatives such as the Galileo satellite system that is supposed to rival the US GPS but has incurred ever-rising costs. Initially allotted €1 billion, this his risen to €3.4 billion as it has fallen years behind schedule, with warnings of more to come.
Then there is the European External Action Service under Britain’s commissioner, Baroness Ashton of Upholland, which is being set up to represent the EU around the world and has an annual operating budget of €436 million.
The row is just the curtain-raiser on an even bigger battle over the EU’s next seven-year budget plan, for the years 2014 to 2020, which is due to be presented this summer.

British Politicians with pens and treachery, in pursuit of their own agenda and greed, have done more damage to the liberty, freedoms, rights and democracy of the British peoples than any army in over 1,000 years.

The disastrous effects of British politicians selling Britain into the thrall of foreign rule by the EU for their own personal rewards has damaged the well-being of Britain more than the armies of Hitler and the Franco - German - Italian axis of 1939 - 1945.
