Hi,

UKIP has a good article in The Sun today over the by-line of Nigel Farage.
It is such a pity that with some sound comment coming from UKIP and being published, at last - it is so damaged as a result of UKIP association with racism, anti judaism, anti homosexuality, extremism, bullying and the dishonest & corrupt use of a small army of low lifes and sock puppets willing to lie and defame from their cowardly stance.

Without responsible behaviour UKIP does more harm than good to the wish of the majority of the British peoples to Leave-The-EU - without some gravitas and a clear exit & survival strategy UKIP can talk and publish all it likes but it will continue to bump along the bottom of British politics with an average vote when it can find a candidate of around 5-7% which is inadequate to be of any real significance in the struggle for Independence.

The constant reports of defamatory lies, corruption, back stabbing & lack of vision & political nouse guarantees UKIP's long term irrelevance.

That said here is their latest little flurry of activity:

We won’t get fooled again, PM

UK Independence Party leader

Nigel Farage
Poll call ... Nigel Farage
Published: 16 minutes ago

THE public is running out of patience with David Cameron over his dawdling on Europe – and UK Independence Party chief Nigel Farage is backing The Sun’s call for a referendum.

A Sun on Sunday survey found 67 per cent want a vote on whether the UK stays in the European Union.
Here, UKIP leader Mr Farage explains why that referendum cannot come soon enough.
BACK in 1971, a couple of years before we joined the Common Market (as the EU was called then), The Who wrote that great song Won’t Get Fooled Again.
But in the past 40 years we’ve been fooled time and time again.
We were told our membership of Europe was about trade and opening up markets to British goods.
Instead we got political interference, endless rules and regulations, our fish stocks plundered, and foreign criminals claiming the “right to a family life” in Britain.
Sound like a free trade agreement to you? No, me neither.

EU flag and handcuffs
Locked in ... UK vote on EU is vital, says Nigel Farage
Now David Cameron is trying to do it again. His “cast-iron guarantee” on an EU referendum, made in the pages of The Sun, soon rusted. His next con trick will be telling you he needs a chance to renegotiate with Europe and make a deal.
This newspaper is right to look at the possibility of recalibrating our relationship with Brussels but I am sceptical as to whether we would ever get the best deal for Britain.
Any agreement needs to get the go-ahead from all the other countries in the EU.
It would be like trying to have an amicable divorce with 26 ex-partners who all blame you for their problems — partners who cost you £50million a day, by the way.
They are not going to send us home with a box of Belgian chocolates and a bottle of French red.
At the very best, Mr Cameron will arrive back from Brussels, cheeks flushed with victory, telling us we’re just in the “single market” now and that means trade — nothing more, nothing less.
The single market cripples British businesses.

The single market is responsible for all those health and safety regulations and environmental directives that this newspaper has campaigned against for years.
More than that, if we remain a part of it, we still won’t be able to strike trade deals with the rest of the world. While China, Brazil, India and the rest of the Commonwealth flourish, we will be handcuffed to the EU, with their sky-high unemployment rates, doomed single currency and economies set to stagnate for the next ten to 20 years.
Every year, the EU sells us £52billion more in goods than we buy from them.
We have more of a taste for German cars than they do for Scotch whisky, and it is nonsense to suggest they‘d refuse to sell us another Merc if we left the EU.
Renegotiation is an option but not a solution.

EU have to fight now, PM
EU and cry ... our report
The British people deserve a true choice in a straight in/out referendum. Mr Cameron does not want you to have that poll, in case you don’t give him the answer he wants — which is to stay in the EU. But only after a NO vote could we get that free-trade deal. You know, the one we thought we’d originally signed up to.
Sixty-two per cent of Sun readers do not trust the PM. This gives me hope.
Do me a favour, David, and have a listen to that song by The Who, on iTunes, and don’t get fooled again.

#G0640* - Tiny Blur @ His Most Transparent!

Hi,

in the past we have had Prime Ministers who were sad, mad and bad - we have had Prime Ministers with personal agendas, duplicitous and untrustworthy but I believe Tony Blair was the first Prime Minister of these United Kingdoms in modern history to be Evil, a war criminal, a liar and a mass murderer - Let us, together with an IN/OUT Referendum to unweave his lies and scams and those of those who went before him in betrayal of Britain, our Constitution and our peoples and betrayed us by selling out to the utterly corrupt, clearly undemocratic and blatantly failed EU and then can follow his trial for having lied to Parliament, The Monarch and the peoples in betrayal of our allies and in breech of OUR Military Covenant, using out troops as mercenaries for his personal gain - A War Criminal by ANY deffinition!

Tony Blair (John Keane, courtesy Flowers Gallery )
It is Tony Blair at his most opaque and duplicitous: his face has no distinguishing features while the eyes, nose and mouth are covered in an abstract splash.
The new portrait of the former prime minister, to be unveiled this week, shows him giving evidence to the Chilcot inquiry into the Iraq war.
John Keane, who was Britain’s official artist in the Gulf war of 1990-1, has deliberately painted Blair’s face in this way. “You just can’t nail down Blair,” said Keane. “He is so mercurial and that is why I have painted him like this.
The irony is that Keane used to be a supporter of Blair and new Labour before disillusion set in.

#G0611* - The Scots joined The Union because they were starving

#G0611* - The Scots joined The Union because they were starving

Hi,

The Scots joined The Union because they were starving - that time was due to the failure of crops due to the eruption of Katla in Iceland.

This time it looks like it is likely that Scotland will be destroyed by its own self serving politicians manipulating a large under class of Scotland that believes and expects there is a future for Scotland living under direct rule and subsidy by the centralised and largely undemocratic EUropean Union which the more intelligent in Scotland will have realised is nothing more than a failed experiment – an arcane scam founded on greed and the self interest of a small clique of politicians and held together with a huge structure of bribes.

Whether directly ruled by The EU or in co-operation with the other members of these United Kingdoms who have supported and co-operated with Scotland on a partnership basis with the costs of Governance and defence shared and the peoples of Scotland assisted under The Barnet Formula to even out the difficulties in largely unproductive areas like Scotland and Wales.

A measure of the evil irresponsibility of the Lawyers, Bankers, Civil Servants & Politicians of Scotland is that they are willing to gamble and destroy the lives of Scots less fortunate than themselves, well aware that if it goes wrong for them as Politicians, Lawyers, Bankers etc. they can abandon Scotland as so many Scots have done in the past when work, food, income and the like dried up – You may well be aware that during The Napoleonic Wars the Island of Skye fielded 2,500 fully armed men – now if its entire popul;ation were to leave it could not make up such numbers.

The degree of Evil of the cartell of scheisters running Scotland are willing to put the gullible at risk in one of the most dangerous periods in history in economic terms. Do YOU really believe they have the moral right to risk the starvation their actions might bring for those less fortunate than them?

Consider:

When you have listened to the clear and consise video you can save the text and check every detail for your own peace of mind.

Perhaps if you are a Scot and believe the propaganda that should read piece of mind!

One is forced to ask by what moral right these self serving, greedy fools can risk these United Kingdoms and the destruction of the Union just for their personal gain?

Exclusive: A war of independence: PM squares up to Salmond

Cameron orders ministers to campaign aggressively north of the border against the break-up of the union as panic hits Westminster
By Brian Brady, Whitehall Editor
Sunday, 25 September 2011

First Minister Alex SalmondImage via Wikipedia
The Coalition's ministers will target areas where Mr Salmond is seen to be vulnerable
David Cameron is to go head to head with Alex Salmond in a bitter battle over the future of the union between England and Scotland. The Government is to fight what it sees as "outrageous" claims and increasingly aggressive moves towards complete self-rule from the Scottish First Minister in a desperate attempt to stop Scotland from "sleepwalking into independence".
The Prime Minister has ordered an aggressive government attack on the SNP in the hope of raising the alarm in England and Scotland about the prospect of Scotland voting to split from the United Kingdom. He believes the First Minister has had an easy ride and not faced enough questions on how an independent Scotland would stay afloat – and bankroll its huge pensions and benefits bill without raising taxes.
The more "muscular" approach, agreed by the coalition's ruling "quad" of ministers, will target areas where Mr Salmond is seen to be vulnerable – notably on the economy and welfare.
The frantic switch follows widespread unrest among English MPs over the enhanced subsidies available to Scotland, which fund improved services including free personal care, university tuition and prescriptions, which are not available in England.
The gear change comes as Labour announces plans to beef up the position of its leader in Scotland, partly to face down the SNP resurgence.
One senior minister pledged yesterday that the Government would no longer be the "passive recipient" of proposals from the Scottish Executive, including the Budget presented by the SNP Finance Minister John Swinney last week.
Instead, coalition ministers including Mr Cameron and Nick Clegg will take on Mr Salmond in a series of visits and interviews in the coming months. Michael Moore, the Scotland Secretary, has already begun telling government departments to shape their pronouncements to spell out the advantages of the union to the Scottish public.
"We have all allowed Salmond to have it his own way for too long," one minister said yesterday.
The change in strategy betrays a growing frustration at the heart of Government that Mr Salmond has been allowed to dictate the debate over Scotland's destiny. His enduring popularity has made a vote for independence – or further devolution christened "devo max" – a real possibility at a referendum promised within the next four years.
The "quad" – Mr Cameron, the Deputy Prime Minister, Nick Clegg, the Chancellor, George Osborne, and the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, Danny Alexander – have rejected a more positive campaign in favour of an aggressive response targeting Mr Salmond himself.
After a series of meetings with Mr Moore, they have pulled in ministers from across the Government and told them to join the effort to counteract the SNP message.
Mr Moore warned last week that an independent Scotland would risk a Greece-style economic collapse. He added: "When the economy changes we have bigger bills to pay on unemployment. Scotland would have to think how on earth that was done."
Ministers concede that UK parties had given Mr Salmond a free rein to present himself as the defender of Scotland's rights over several years, culminating in the SNP's victory at the Scottish elections in June.
A senior Scottish Lib Dem minister confessed last week that the party had missed the chance to rein in the SNP by refusing to form a coalition government when the Nationalists emerged as the biggest party, but without a majority, following the 2007 Holyrood elections.
Instead, Mr Salmond used the result as a platform to establish his party as a credible government for four years, and then to win an outright majority at the elections held in May this year.
The strategy presents the Prime Minister with a difficult balancing act, however, as it requires him to defend a settlement which has provoked hostility on both sides of the border.
A group of young Tory MPs has now called on Mr Cameron to end Scotland's subsidy and give Holyrood greater tax-raising powers – effectively forcing the nation to pay its way within the union. The gap between public spending and taxes raised in Scotland stood at £14bn in 2009-10, and the country receives subsidies amounting to almost 20 per cent more per head than in England.
John Curtice, professor of politics at Strathclyde University, said the coalition parties had recognised the problem late, as the prospect of a referendum was remote. He added: "They are having difficulty putting forward their argument because no one can match up to Mr Salmond."
Nicola McEwen of the Institute of Governance at the University of Edinburgh said the Government "has a legitimacy problem in Scotland, being made up of the third and fourth-placed parties".
A spokesperson for Mr Salmond said yesterday: "Scotland's future will be decided by the people of Scotland – not by the Tory-Lib Dem 'quad' holding secret meetings in Downing Street.
"The people of Scotland have already spoken decisively this year, overwhelmingly backing the SNP government's positive vision of progress for the nation, and a recent poll shows independence has moved ahead of support for the status quo."

#G0600* - The Economy Politically Past, Present & Future

#G0600* - The Economy Politically Past, Present & Future

Hi,

in a discussion regarding the current political and economic situation in Britain it is worth remembering as we approach the last 1/3rd. of August that since the start of this month, due in part to the fact that the British Government has lacked the competence or courage to announce it is no longer prepared to make any efforts to bail out the Countries that sequentially fall into the black hole created by the near total failure of The EUro.

It is worthy of note that the economy has collapsed by around 15% in that time being a sum of around £200 Billion.

How long can we sustain such catastrophic outcomes of the mess left to this Government without taking radical and remedial action - without which it can not be very long hence before the burnt out core of our society as a member of the ravening hoard will be the ONLY chance of feeding - think Mogadishu, Famine & Somalia.

Also we must announce the fact that for survival purposes Britain is closing its borders to the ingress of aliens via The EU and will be steadily reducing its population by repatriating those aliens that were forced upon us as a result of our misguided membership of The EUropean Union.

Our Government should also announce we shall be repatriating all aliens to the EU who are existing on benefits and subsidies and will be billing Countries of origin for all aliens in British prisons and repatriating their families for the care of their native Country until their prison relative has completed their sentence and is likewise repatriated.

Naturally those who are home owners, speak English and are in gainfull employment will after 5 years of such status be entitled to make application to remain.

The British Government should also announce it will be negotiating to repatriate ALL aspects of its Sovereign Independent Democracy, regulation and control of its own borders, agriculture, economy and fisheries.

Similarly it should be announced that Regional Local Government be  it regions such as East Anglia, The South West, Wales, London, The West Midlands or Scotland shal have equal rights over local issues and as much of central Government function will be decentralised with each region bidding on a tender basis to take on the functions of central Government to thus decentralise the residual jobs and duties.

The Government should make it very clear that it will no longer contribute to or be party to any political or regulatory functions of The EU nor continue to pay £48 Million a day for membership of this malign, self serving and damaging centralisation of power and incompetence.

We should announce we are willing to trade with any and all Nations on the planet on an even footing entering into such trade agreements as we see fit, proper and of benefit to these United Kingdoms on terms subject to individual negotiation through our Embassies and will willingly offer preferential terms to those states which wish to make application as members of The Anglosphere to include The Commonwealth of Nations.

Together with a 50% reduction in the size of The British Government and closure of ALL QUANGOs it will of course expose the fact that the Tories inherited an unemployment figure of somewhere between 5 and 8 Million though many were well hidden in the Kleptocratic QUANGOcracy that has been cleverly contrived to seek to hide the fact that many had no meaningful job and also thereby hopefully secure a salary vote in gratitude.

Unsurprisingly the people in the main saw through the scam and resoundingly rejected Labour's economic illiteracy and fundamental treachery. Save a small army dependent on such charity handouts and unable to face the harsh reality that their persuit of comfort and security without meaningfull responsibility commensurate has rendered them or will shortly render them unemployed.

The deportation of aliens may well suffice to provide real jobs for the work shy who were hidden in Government, nationalised industries and QUANGOs.

Interestingly one contributor to a Forum on which I post said:
Stop passing the buck and blaming other people for the incompitence of tory governments. Perhaps you'd like to open a discussion about the *CUT* storm that Labour inherited in 1974 and 1997?
I felt it reasonable to respond as follows:

Would that be the fact that Labour stated when they had sight of the books having been elected in 1997 that the economic base they had inherited was so sound that they had absolutely no intention of altering anything for at least a couple of years.

Would that be the fact that the economic illiterate Gordon Brown sold 400 metric tonnes of gold for about $250 an ounce when it is currently selling for ober £1,800 an ounce.

Would this be the fact that when The labour Party sold its old Headquarters by use of a loophole in the law they were responsible for they ripped off the public purse by many 10s of £1,000s by not paying the stamp duty you and I would have had to pay.

Would this be the fact that around £270 Million just went walk about unaccountably from the funding of the Dome which seemed to have vanished to family and friends.

Would this be the fact that largely due to deals with their chums the Mittal family and Tatta Britain no longer has a steel industry?

Would this be the fact that having taken over balanced books praised by Labour in 1997 due to their utter economic illiteracy they handed on, when resoundingly voted out of office debts of £4.8 Trillion.

Would this be the fact that when the present Government took over authority they found Labour had left them with a daily interest payment of £120 Million.

Would this be the fact that during the period of the general election when Labour was chucked out they had already agreed to a VAT hike to 20% and the undertaking that by July Britain would announce when it was to be introduced!

Would this be the fact that during the period between being chucked out and the new government taking over Labour utterly dishonestly agreed a deal with their communist friends in The EU that Britain would participate in the bail out of the failed EUro currency which Labour had already spent £Billions propping up.

Would this be the fact that during the labour Government almost 800,000 extra parasites were recruited into Government either as Snivil Cervants or QUANGOs in an attempt to buy a salary vote to keep Labour's snout in the trough enriching their leadership.

Would this be the fact that from 1997 during those 13 unlucky years of Labour economic illiteracy more public assets were transfered to the private sector than at any time other than during WWII.

Would this be the fact that more Hospitals were sold off to the private sector during those 13 unlucky years than between 1946 when Lord Beverridge's plan for an NHS was clumsily put in place by a Labour champagne socialist with a card carrying Communist wife and 1997.

I wonder which of this brief list of the facts you would wish to discount to try to pretend that in some way the Tory Party - idiots that they may well be - are in some way responsible for the steadily collapsing value of our currency, the loss of our Manufacturing industry, the demise of the value of The City, the collapse of banking and house prices under Labour, the crass support for the banks etc. etc. - It is beyond doubt that the economic illiteracy of buffoons like Gordon Brown, Ed Balls, Alistair Darling and their ilk.

Damage that was only matched by the staggering incompetence of first MAFF then DEFRA in their handling of the foot and mouth virus for the EU, the handling of lamb exports to france, the handling of BSE, the handling of the government subsidies to help transfer Heckler & Koch to Turket, Rover etc. to Germany, French subsidies to its own aircraft industry, airlines, car industry and transport. The idiocy of the likes of Harriet Dromey (Harman) and her divisive stupidity, the criminality of Peter Haine never seriously brought to book, the lies and treachery of Ron davis, the crimes against humanity and war crimes of Blair and his cabinet.

Just which bit would you wish to claim was in some way caused by The Tories?

Lets not even look at the utter stupidity and corruption of the mikey mouse regional de4volution that has led to Scotland and Wales being no more than one of the 12 regions of Britain that are directly ruled by The EU - Devolution under Labour was an obscene and unscrupulous con.

Perhaps you could explain what it was you tried to present as a 'Perhaps you'd like to open a discussion about the *CUT* storm that Labour inherited in 1974 and 1997?'

It matters not how many threads you present your threadbare arguments on this particular issue in you clearly have little comprehension of the realities of economics on planet earth!

Referendum calls are absurd, says minister
By Toby Helm and Bruno Waterfield
Join the Telegraph campaign for an EU referendum

Gordon Brown was shaping up for a bitter and prolonged battle over Europe with the Conservatives last night after his Europe minister described calls for a referendum on the new European Union treaty as "frankly absurd".

The comments by Jim Murphy, during a debate in the House of Commons, came ahead of a speech today by William Hague, the shadow foreign secretary, in which he will say a national vote is essential because the treaty would transfer powers from Westminster to Brussels "in spades".

Mr Murphy also appeared to rule out any attempt to renegotiate the wording of the draft EU Treaty.

The Tories and some Labour MPs want ministers to change aspects of the draft treaty, including a section which they say would make national parliaments subservient to Brussels.

But Mr Murphy told MPs he had no intention of seeking any amendments. Responding to the eurosceptic Tory MP Bill Cash, who said there must be a referendum on a document that would create an EU president and foreign minister, Mr Murphy quoted the Europhile former Tory Chancellor, Kenneth Clarke, as saying to ask the people to vote on such a document would be "frankly absurd".

Mr Murphy said he could not think of a better way to answer Mr Cash than to repeat Mr Clarke's assessment.

In a sign that the Tories - who have been reluctant to reignite arguments over the EU since David Cameron became leader - are now willing to put the issue at centre stage again, Mr Hague will tell the Policy Exchange think-tank that the treaty will "fundamentally change the European Union and Britain's place in it".

He will argue that it is the same in all but name as the Constitutional Treaty on which Labour promised a referendum in its 2005 election manifesto. That treaty was killed in referendums in France and Holland.

Mr Hague will say that politicians across Europe have confirmed that the new document is essentially the same as the old.

"With power transferred from Britain to Brussels in spades and the EU fundamentally changed, there is no question but that the constitution by another name merits a referendum," he will say. "After the constitution was rejected the first time around, the then foreign secretary - set out a simple test for any new treaty.

"If the new treaty had the president and the foreign minister, then, Jack Straw said, it would in essence be the constitution.

"The new treaty has the president and foreign minister. It is in essence the constitution. The remaining question is where the promised referendum is."

David Miliband, the Foreign Secretary, last night repeated the Government's refusal to hold a referendum on the new treaty. Mr Miliband, attending his first meeting of EU foreign ministers since his appointment, said: "The concept of a constitution has been abandoned. That is made clear in the new treaty. In that context we don't think there needs to be a constitutional referendum."

He went on: "The important question is whether it is a good treaty for Europe and for Britain or not? I think it is a good treaty for Europe and for Britain because it takes forward institutional reform in a sensible way and undermines the arguments of those saying that there is a superstate around the corner.

"It is evident that that is not the case."

The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph

Monday, 6 June 2011
Did we lose a war that no one noticed?
It is not difficult to understand why leading thinkers wanted some kind of union between the nations of Western Europe after WW2. The Continent had suffered two crippling wars within thirty years. These had been devastating for the people - with so many killed or maimed, devastating for their towns and cities - with so many laid to waste and devastating for their livelihoods - with the nation's economies in tatters. However, by the beginning of the sixties the United States and the Soviet Union had demonstrated that, because of predictable technological developments, war between advanced nations was no longer a viable option. Nuclear weapons had brought the near certainty of mutually assured destruction in any such future conflict.

This state of affairs could have been predicted with the development of the V1s and V2s by Germany in the latter part of WW2 and then by the US with the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. However, no doubt the deep psychological impact caused by the horrors of these wars, kept those pressing for union to continue - even though its purpose was already all but lost. Voluntary inclusion in a variety of European projects, such as the European Space Agency, would have been a sensible move, because it would spread the cost of expensive projects - but any agreement which limits the nation's freedom to act in accordance with that nation's and its people's interest was unwanted - particularly now, when one or many are struggling to avoid national bankruptcy.

The European project, started as a genuine attempt to protect the people from the horrors of war, has since been hijacked by those seeing the Union as a way to achieve personal benefit and wealth and there is very few, if any, aspects included which benefits the nation and its people as a whole. It was clear prior to the Lisbon Treaty being ratified by Brown that two thirds of voters did not want the treaty to be signed - with more than 80% wanting a referendum on our inclusion. This fact alone should make any honorable party vying for government offer a referendum on our membership - the disastrous consequences of our membership since should make it imperative.

At a time when we have high unemployment, to allow foreign nationals, whether from the EU or elsewhere, to move here to take the available jobs is a mindless stupidity for a nation deep in debt and staving off bankruptcy [apart to those benefitting from the measure]. Even the most simple can understand that this results in our debt being aggravated through having to pay unemployment benefit to national's kept unemployed as a result of this immigrant labour.

Although not EU law, our inclusion in the European Convention on Human Rights is also working against our national interest and a referendum, at least, is required to see that the people still want to be included. This Convention was originally developed to avoid a repeat of the Nazi's treatment of the Jews in the lead up and during WW2, particularly the Holocaust. However, this convention is now being used here, often to give, mostly, economic migrants superior rights to our own citizens and is costing the nation immense sums in legal fees - money we can ill afford and making the repatriation of many who are here illegally from being returned to their nation of birth.

Our European adventure has been disastrous and because of our dire economic condition, the impact of self-serving politicians not to offer the people referenda on each new development has come home to roost. The recent increase in the EU budget will, according to Daniel Hannan, cost us a net amount of £9.2 billion [an increase of 74%!] - this will more than wipe out the benefit of all of the spending cuts announced to date.

And what do we pay this for? To be governed by a group of Eurocrats in the majority and increasing number of areas of national life - did we have difficulty in governing ourselves before? Did we lose a war that no one noticed? For this is usually the only reason a nation submits to government by a foreign power. These Eurocrats create laws that are generally against our national interest and, because of the way the EU is constructed, effectively removes the peoples democratic right to change the laws so created.

We must have taken leave of our senses to keep electing the three main parties to government, each of whom wishes to see our continued membership?

Hi,

enjoyed the article but copied it from your page to put in a readable format - reverse block with low contrast does not make for ease of reading!

The content was very worthwhile Black on White!!

Good luck - I trust you will not mind it being reprinted in a legible form with attribution elsewhere.

British Politicians with pens and treachery, in pursuit of their own agenda and greed, have done more damage to the liberty, freedoms, rights and democracy of the British peoples than any army in over 1,000 years.

The disastrous effects of British politicians selling Britain into the thrall of foreign rule by the EU for their own personal rewards has damaged the well-being of Britain more than the armies of Hitler and the Franco - German - Italian axis of 1939 - 1945.
