This picture is a delight. It shows the artwork commissioend by the Czech presidency of the EU for the council building in Brussels.

It's supposed to be ironic, but that Mitteleuropean humour is always a bit variable.

Austria is represented with a nuclear power station, Bulgaria with a Turkish toilet, France with a big banner saying "on strike", Lithuania with five men in army uniforms urinating outwards (onto Russia), Luxembourg's is made of Nazi gold with a "For Sale" sign sticking out, Netherlands is entirely underwater, with only the minarets visible above the waves and Britain...is missing entirely.

I seem to recall the British presidency a decade ago getting into trouble for representing Italy with a pizza. Others might say this is broadly accurate, with the UK usually absent.

UPDATE: a chum points out that Germany is represented by what looks like a broken up swastika. And it appears to have been reordered into the number 18, which neo-Nazis cherish as representing Adolf Hitler's initials. Nice.

Benedict must be even older than I as he fails to have noted that the entire ghastly mess is based upon a kids model with its constituent parts injection molded by force. It would seem like all those damned models I never finished - big parts are missing, the instructions are in some garbled language unintelligible to mere mortals - in my era it was Japlish - now it would seen Chinlish and there seems an increasing amount of Manglish and Franglais - scarily the most notable is the Humpty Dumpty Linguistics of French translated at huge cost via BabelFish/AltaVista to be unintelligible save for a corrupt army of Enarchs and EU Snivil Cervants.

Astonishing how often you end up with too many of one bit and a vital part missing and in the example proffered by The Czech President of The EU not one single part of the kit fits with another!

Oh so true!

How was it they clasify certain types of Modern Art 'The unexplainable promoted by the unprincipled to the uncomprehending' or 'The efforts of the untalented promoted by the unprincipled to the utterly bewildered'.

As with cows cut in half, piles of bricks, unmade beds, diamond encrusted skulls - collectively: CRAP (Complete Rubbish @ Attrocious Prices)

TO LEAVE THE EU

Politicians are failing to tell the truth, but so are almost all wanabe Politicians, the MSM and Snivil Cervants.

The fact is that even if EVERY British MEP wanted change in The EU it would achieve NOTHING.Every single British Politician, of EVERY Party, elected since before we joined the EUropean Common Market, has promised to change The EU's CAP - In 40 Years they have achieved absolutely NOTHING!

To try to put a value on OUR Freedom is as futile as floccipaucinihilipilification and as odious as the metissage of our societies, as we rummage in the ashes of our ancestors dreams, sacrifices and achievements, the flotsam of our hopes and the jetsam of our lives, consider the Country and Anglosphere which we leave our children and the future, with shame!

I SUGGEST – since there is clearly no political party of repute, advocating or campaigning for withdrawal of these United Kingdoms from the EU and restoration of our independent sovereign, democracy, with Justice & the right to self determination in a free country. Deny the self seeking & meaningless wanabe MEPs the Mythical Mandate for which they clamour. Diktat is imposed from The EU but Law should be made at Westminster, for our Country & our Peoples.
