#G299* - JUSTICE for ALL & FREE for ALL - CARE for The AGED is surely a priority!

#G299* - JUSTICE for ALL & FREE for ALL - CARE for The AGED is surely a priority!

Hi,

contemplating yet another care home bill, for my Mother who has advanced dementia and has no idea who she is let alone who anyone else is now her third year in care drifts by her completely un-noticed. The latest bill arrived in the week that I was told that the average cost of keeping a prisoner in prison was the same @ £45,000+ a year - across my desk slid an interesting and opportune idea which Ken Clark might care to take on board in his latest non job in Britain's non Governemt as I understand he does not have permission from either the fat cats in the Unions nor the unelected dictator committee of the supra national EU which increasingly governs every aspect of our lives.

Perhaps the plan below was the product of a frustrated Civil Servant in the department who appreciated that Britain no longer has any meaningful say and MPs' salaries and obscenely over generous expenses are nothing more than bribes to persuade them not to tell the electorate they are a complete waste of space and Britain is now no longer a democracy - the demos was stiffled by deceit many moons ago.

The Plan
Let's put the seniors in jail and the criminals in a nursing home. This way the seniors would have access to showers, hobbies, and walks. They'd receive unlimited free prescriptions, dental  and medical treatment, wheel chairs, etc., and they'd receive money instead of paying it out.

They would have constant video monitoring, so they could be helped instantly if they fell or needed assistance. Bedding would be washed twice a week, and all clothing would be ironed and returned to them.

A guard would check on them every 20 minutes and bring their meals and snacks to their cell. They would have family visits in a suite built for that purpose. They would have access to a library, weight room, spiritual counseling, pool, and education.

Simple clothing, shoes, slippers, PJ's and legal aid would be free, on request.  Private, secure rooms for all, with an outdoor exercise yard and gardens.

Each senior could have a PC, a TV, a radio, and daily phone calls. There would be a board of directors to hear complaints, and the guards would have a code of conduct that would be strictly adhered to.

The criminals would get cold food, be left all alone and unsupervised, lights off at 8 pm, and showers once a week.  They would live in a tiny room, pay £2000 per month, and have no hope of ever getting out.

Justice for all.
