By now we should all know that the overwhellming body of scientists have clearly and unequivocally discreditted the dishonesty of the UN and Government level scam of the IPCC Report.

The facts have leaked out and the details of how the figures were rigged have been made clear.

We know that wind turbines not only do not in any real terms work effectively but the savings made are less than the costs of manufacture, instation and running costs and make no allowance for their removal when they fail and/or become time expired.

During the cold period in Britain in January the wind turbines ground to a halt due to lack of ambient air movement (wind). Had we had an appreciable number say some 5,000 per county in Britain we would have had NO POWER and deaths from temperature drop would have been massive. Homes, hospitals and buildings would not have had sufficient electricity to keep going!

Clearly as a huge number of scientists have attested this is all an outright scam.

We note the Government is being taken to the advertising standards institute for having produced advertisements that lie to the public and seek to con the public into believing that both Climate Change (a perfectly normal phenomenon) and global warming (which isn't happening as global temperature has FALLEN each year for the last 11 years) are something to do with mankind and the natural rise in CO2 that FOLLOWS temperature rise is both the cause AND due to mankind.

Mabey Bridge creates 240 Welsh jobs

Mabey Bridge is investing £38m in a new facility that will see the engineering firm become the biggest UK manufacturer of onshore and offshore wind-turbine towers.

Mabey Bridge expects the investment to lead to the creation of 240 new skilled jobs in South Wales, in addition to the 400 already employed by the company at its bases in Chepstow and Lydney.

Mabey Bridge recently purchased South Wales’ largest speculative industrial unit along with 18 acres of land at Newhouse Farm Distribution Park in Chepstow, for £13m.

The firm has now lodged a planning application with Monmouthshire Council to double the size of the existing warehouse to allow the new fabrication facility for the towers to go ahead.

‘The investment goes against the grain of the decline in the manufacturing sector in the UK,’ said Peter Lloyd, managing director of Mabey Bridge.

‘We are forecasting that production at the facility will provide around half the UK’s requirement for wind-turbine towers, greatly reducing the need for developers to import.’

This 32,140m2 facility, which has been fully forward-funded by parent company Mabey Holdings, will be capable of fabricating turbine tower sections up to 5m in diameter and 40m in length.

Chepstow gets 240 manufacturing jobs

THE arrival of 240 'green' jobs in Chepstow was welcomed by the local Friends of the Earth group.

Mabey Bridge will create jobs for welders and steel fabricators, at a site at Newhouse Farm Distribution Park, Mathern. The jobs are part of a £38million investment to build wind turbine towers for onshore and offshore wind farms in the UK.

Steve Rawlings of the group said: "The creation of 240 jobs in manufacturing towers for wind turbines at Chepstow is excellent news for the environment and the economy of Wales.

"It will be a significant boost to the Welsh Assembly Government's aim of creating thousands of green jobs in Wales and is particularly welcome following recent news of the loss of hundreds of jobs in manufacturing in Wales.

"The UK has the best wind energy potential in the whole of Europe. We must ensure that it reaps the full economic and environmental benefits of its development."

The new factory will make around 30 turbine towers, up to five metres wide and 40 metres in length, a year - making it the biggest manufacturer of wind turbine towers in the UK. Recruitment is expected to start in March and it is hoped work will begin by the end of the year once the company gets planning permission to extend the existing warehouse to create a section for painting and assembling the towers.

A planning application is currently being considered by Monmouthshire County Council.

Mabey Bridge already employs 400 people at its factories in Chepstow and Lydney, Gloucestershire, where the firm makes parts for steel bridges and car parks.

Project director, Peter Brooke, said: “A lot of the skills which are needed already exist in the local area and at our current site in Chepstow. There is huge potential here."
