#G124* - Greens Call It Recycling PETA Call It ....
Well Propably Plagiarism!

Hi,

There are times when I think animal rights are getting out of hand.

Many of you will well remember the absolute silence from The RSPCA during the Foot & Mouth outbreak and the Government's inhumane and needless slaughter of over 10,000,000 animals.

You will well remember the part played by Animal rights activists from Norfolk and the silence of the ALF, ALA and other so called animal rights groups.
You may even remember the threat by the veggie nutters to spread the virus to America - we are all well aware of the huge amounts of money made by such organisations both from Veggie Fascism and their cruelty to animals for profit!

I just could not resist this story of normal PETA folk and their affiliations!

Widow of Murdered Fly Seeks White House Apology
Grieving widow Grieving widow faces uphill legal Battle against President

WASHINGTON -- The widow of the housefly murdered by Barack Obama during a recent CNBC television interview announced this morning that she would be filing a wrongful death suit against the President in federal district court. The plaintiff brief -- citing pain, suffering and loss of income -- seeks a formal apology and compensatory damages, including an unspecified quantity of shit.

"Bob was a wonderful husband and provider," said the widow, Mrs. Vivian Vvzzvzwwzzz, wiping tears from her compound eyes. "Even though he was always busy at the Rose Garden turd pile, he always flew home in time to tuck in our maggots."

The 17-day old widow said the grieving process since the murder has taken its toll.

"Although it's been nearly 48 hours, I still get an empty feeling in my thorax everytime I think about it," she said. "I feel like I've aged an entire week. Mating season is over, and here I am, stuck trying to raise 532 larvae on my own."

Vvzzvzwwzzz described the "abdomen-wrenching horror" she experienced while watching the President casually assassinate her husband during the live broadcast.

"It was just before supper time and I was predigesting the evening shit for the kids," she recalled. "When I looked up at the TV I saw Bob there, and of course I was pretty excited. He started waving at me, and then, all of a sudden, SLAP! My whole world, my life, layed smashed across the back of Obama's left hand. And with 360 degree peripheral vision and hundreds of eye facets, it was impossible to look away."

Ever since the incident, Mrs. Vvzzvzwwzzz said she had been trying to piece her life back together.

"I just get paralyzed wondering how I'm going to raise my larvae for the next six days, alone, without any kind of support," she said. "Most days I just end up on the clung to the ceiling, numb and crying, eating a rancid bowl of Ben & Jerry's."

Breaking down, an emotionally distraught Vvzzvzwwzzz was comforted by PETA President Ingrid Newkirk and ACLU President Nadine Strossen. The two groups announced they will file an amicus brief in the case and file a separate class action suit against the insecticide, flyswatter and pest strip industries, seeking over 1 million metric tons of compensatory shit on behalf of 200 billion Fly-Americans.

"The President's treatment of the Fly community has been extremely disappointing," said Newkirk. "He almost seemed to relish his bloodthirsty attack on Mr. Vvzzvzwwzzz. It's obvious he's in the pocket of Big Manure."

University of Tennessee law professor Glenn Reynolds said Vvzzvzwwzzz v. Obama is likely to raise several thorny constitutional issues.

"The courts have a lot of questions to sort out here," he said. "For example, can a sitting president be forced to testify in a civil suit? Can he give himself immunity? How does this effect the rights of cooties and crab lice? Also, just how completely batshit insane is PETA?"

Despite the prospect of facing a challenge from the President's formidable legal team, Vvzzvzwwzzz said she was prepared to pursuit it all the way to the Supreme Court.

"If Mr. Obama thinks he can shoo me away with his legal briefs and his rolled-up New York Times, then he is sadly mistaken," said an angry Vvzzvzwwzzz. "He has no idea how persistent and annoying I can be. I'm in this for the long haul. All the way till July, if I'm still alive."

Reynolds cautioned that no matter how determined the plaintiff, such a prolonged legal battle against the President could prove prohibitively expensive.

"Mrs. Vvzzvzwwzzz is likely to end up spending millions in legal fees, with an unknown probability of success. Even if she prevails, the ACLU and PETA lawyers will eat 40% of her shit settlement in contingency fees," he said.

Vvzzvzwwzz said she would be establishing a legal fund to help defray the cost of the suit, and appealed to the public for contributions.

"PETA has been very generous in relocating my family to a welcoming new neighborhood filled with filthy, stoned, slow-reflexed vegans, but we still need money for court costs," she said. "Help meee-eee! Help meee-ee-eee-eee!"

The ugly, centralised, undemocratic supra national policies being imposed by the centralised and largely unelected decisionmakers of The EU for alien aims, ailien values and to suit alien needs stand every possibility of creating 200,000,000 deaths across EUrope as a result of the blind arrogance and hubris of the idiologues in the central dictatorship, and their economic illiteracy marching hand in glove with the idiocy of The CAP & The CFP - both policies which deliver bills, destroy lives and denude food stocks.

The EU, due to the political idiocy and corruption of its undemocratic leaders, is now a net importer of food, no longer able to feed itself and with a decreasing range of over priced goods of little use to the rest of the world to sell with which to counter the net financial drain of endless imports.

British Politicians with pens and treachery, in pursuit

#G123* - BUT POLICE ARE ALLOWED ....

#G123* - BUT POLICE ARE ALLOWED ....

Hi,

In consideration of a blogger's right to privacy, there has never been a rush to Court to expose authors for the use of the simple device of a 'nom de plume', under what law is a blogger denied the right to privacy.

I would be the very first to consider it was right to expose the identity of some of the filth on the outer limits of the blogosphere who shelter, filth and unsubstantiated defamation behind some childish 'nom de plume' or obfuscation by anonimity and I can think of several such slimes around EUkip acting to try to shelter the corruption and venal greed of the Party and its leadership - but no one gives them any more credance than they would give the failed leadership of EUkip.

That such as Junius, like Nighthawk are forced to tell their tale, verrified as it is, under a 'nom de plume' is rather more indicative of their proximity to the centre of the information they distribute it is more a 'nom de guerre' to maintain their sources to expose the mismanagement and self enrichment of their respective organisations.

One can think of many instances within the 'MSM' where such a style of anonimity has not only existed but been passed from generation to generation!

Daily Telegraph

NightJack: When the blogging biter's bit

The 'outing' of a policeman as the author of a highly controversial blog shows the power of this strange medium, says Damian Thompson.

But this foolish little man - a member of a British Police murder squad is so ashamed of his job he tries to keep his identity secret! I wonder if he can remember which pocket he put his Swiss Army Knife in and one is bound to have a conker in it with a bit of string!!

NightJack: When the blogging biter's bit

The 'outing' of a policeman as the author of a highly controversial blog shows the power of this strange medium, says Damian Thompson.

By Damian Thompson

Bloggers can no longer escape with their anonymity intact.

In April, an anonymous police blog written by a detective calling himself "NightJack" won the Orwell Prize for online political writing. And it deserved to, wrote one newspaper, "because it took you inside real life in a way you couldn't go by yourself". But now you can't go inside real life with NightJack. Visit the site, and you read: "The authors have deleted this blog.

The content is no longer available." Thishas been taken down in its entirety because the Lancashire detective lost a court case to stop his identity being revealed by The Times - the very paper that praised him to the skies when he won the Orwell Prize.

NightJack is Richard Horton, a detective of Lancashire Constabulary.

Yesterday, he revealed how the paper had planned to end his anonymity. "One morning I heard a rumour that they had sent a photographer to my home. Later in the afternoon came the inevitable phone calls, first to me and then to Lancashire Constabulary asking for confirmation that I was the author of the NightJack blog. "That was easily the worst afternoon of my life. I knew that it was serious and quite rightly my employers have investigated it as a matter of misconduct. With that under way, I went to court to stop The Times from publishing my name, my photograph or any personal details about my home and my family.

Over the years, I have dealt with some unpleasant characters. I know that some of them have made determined but unsuccessful efforts to find me… "

In the event, I failed at court, as it was decided that the public right to know about me outweighed any claim to personal privacy. My blog is gone now, deleted, slowly melting away post by post as it drops off the edge of the Google cache." This is a complicated business. The newspaper's media correspondent, Patrick Foster, claims that he wanted to expose someone he felt was revealing confidential details about cases, some involving sex crimes against children, that could be traced back to genuine prosecutions.

But, says Dan Collins of Monday Books (which has published the work of two anonymous police bloggers), "revealing the guy's name and police force is only going to make it easier to piece together the jigsaw of real cases". And, besides, bloggers haven't forgotten that it was The Sunday Times that 'outed' a young woman who wrote a blog about her sexual exploits called Girl With a One-Track Mind – driving her into hiding, she claims.

On that occasion, no lofty justification for the exposure was offered. But do bloggers have a right to anonymity?

Mr Justice Eady did not seem to think so, siding with the newspaper against Mr Horton.

The truth is that bloggers who live by the sword can expect to die by the sword: it's hard to feel sympathy for a writer whose stock in trade is the revelation of secrets but who behaves like an outraged dowager when his or her secret is revealed.

I've cheerfully revealed the identity of a blogger myself in the past: one "Cranmer", whose anti-Catholic rants and distasteful speculation about the progress of Jade Goody's cancer (while she was still alive) thoroughly merited an outing.

Yet there are many other writers who, while they don't enjoy a legal right to anonymity, do us all a favour by blogging anonymously. Most of them are in the public sector. And that makes sense, because taxpayers want to know how their money is really spent – and how to beat an increasingly obstructive and secretive system.

NightJack's most famous post was a guide for "law-abiding types who find themselves under suspicion or under arrest. It works for the bad guys so make it work for you." Horton's tips: get your complaint in first ("racism and homophobia are your friends"); never explain to the police, because they'll use it against you; claim suicidal thoughts. You can see why NightJack's bosses want to discipline him – but also why he attracted 60,000 readers a day. (Incidentally, the arrest tips have been copied all over cyberspace.)

The public sector really can't stand independent bloggers.

From November 2007 until March last year, a 33-year-old woman working for a government department wrote a blog about bogus initiatives and overstaffing under the name Civil Serf. "I know people within eight desks of me whose jobs could be deleted overnight with no discernible impact on our performance," she wrote.

Instead, it was her website that was deleted and an inquiry launched into her identity.

Nearly every branch of the state has spawned anonymous online comment. There's a ferocious NHS Blog Doctor, who recently humiliated cancer specialist Dr Karol Sikora for wrongly claiming to be a professor at Imperial College, London.

There are many angry teachers' blogs, including one called The Report Card: Battling Idiocy on a Daily Basis, in which colleagues are given nicknames such as Whingebag and Smileroid.

There's an Army Rumour Service (a forum rather than a blog) in which Service personnel open fire on politicians they loathe. But then hatred of Labour is a thread running through most anonymous blogs.

It's a satisfying coincidence: the most control-freak government in British history comes to power just as technology evolves that allows employees to broadcast uncontrolled thoughts to anyone who wants to read them. Political bloggers have given the Government a particularly hard time this year.

In April, Paul Staines, the Right-wing libertarian who writes as "Guido Fawkes", was involved in the expose of a Downing Street smear campaign against senior Tories led by Gordon Brown's adviser Damian McBride, who was forced to resign.

Cue much crowing from bloggers about the weakness of the "dead tree press".

Yet within a few weeks the mainstream media ("MSM") had broken a far bigger story: The Daily Telegraph's investigation into MPs' expenses claims, which as a political scandal dwarfs the (admittedly gripping) McBride affair.

Cue grouchiness not just from Staines but from several political bloggers, none of whom was able to do much with the expenses scandal except comment on it. The truth is that the Bloggers vs MSM model only really applies to America, with its pompous networks and moribund regional newspapers. "In Britain, the 'them and us' approach made sense 10 years ago, when the world was simpler," explains Shane Richmond , the Telegraph's communities editor. "But these days, technology is erasing distinctions between newspapers, blogs, micro-blogs, social networks and broadcasting.

The first wave of bloggers have become an elite, threatened by social networks that are trying to do to them what they once tried to do to newspapers." Seen in this light, the attempts by political bloggers to hang on to their anonymity can seem positively quaint.

On Newsnight in 2007, a heavily silhouetted Guido Fawkes told the Guardian's Michael White: "I very much doubt that you would recognise me."
"Yes I would, you're Paul Staines – I saw you at a party the other day," replied White.
This is not to deny that blogging has had a profound effect on the media. "Dead tree" correspondents who ignore this fact do so at their peril.

On the other hand, the blogging format can be a powerful source of information, comment and mischief in the hands of a journalist who understands it. As Benedict Brogan, The Daily Telegraph's chief political commentator, recalls: "I've had Cabinet ministers on the phone to me within seconds of making a snarky comment about them on my blog. "The same applies to the world of religion: I don't know whether to be flattered or irritated by the lengths to which a certain cardinal went in order to silence my own Telegraph blog.

Blogging is an art.

The intrinsic messiness and spontaneity of the form make it more, not less, important to write in a disciplined fashion.

The unreadable websites of five years ago have largely disappeared: teenagers are bored with keeping online diaries and (except at election times) the only local politicians who can be bothered to blog are Lib Dem bedsit councillors obsessed with dog mess and broken paving stones.

But good blogs are one of the joys of the 21st century.

No one set out to create this strange medium: it just evolved.

And we're lucky that it did.

When you think of the Blogosphere's influence relative to the £Millions spent on 'MSM' and then consider some of the stories lifted by 'MSM' from Blogs and the FACT that 'MSM' is in ever increasing collapse - even the Telegraph, currently crowing over having BOUGHT a disc from a particularly seedy contact - who we all know was touting it around looking for the best bid - can hardly claim great journalistic cuddos from publishing it!

Where was the 'MSM' when the blogosphere (well actually internet) exposed the lies of Tony Blair that led Britain into an unlawfull war in Iraq and the war crimes and killings that Blair, Brown, straw and the rest of the war criminals were guilty of. Where is the 'MSM' when the cover-ups continue with secret enquiries hidden behind closed doors?

I guess it is all too easy to answer when you realise just how many journalists have lost their jobs and how the 'MSM' is cutting costs in line with plummeting advertising revenue.

Minded that the Government, Labour Party and their puppets and QUANGOs are Britain's largest single advertiser one can hardly expect the 'MSM' to upset the KLEPTOCRACY that now rules our Country imposing the laws of the corrupt and undemocratic EU at the expense of our future and for the benefit of their bank accounts and pensions.

When it comes to the braggadocio of The Telegraph perhaps they could explain how having the money to publish the receipts which Heather Brooks had the bottle to force the Government, through the Courts, to provide under HER FOI is such a coup!
One does note that it was The Mail which published this picture and The MoS had intended purchasing the disc and returning it to the Government to make the far more valid point that The Government was utterly incompetent and couldn't even manage to control its OWN data!

However The Telegraph published the material and thereby ensured that there was a backlash against the LibLabCon which meant that rather than dealing with substantive issues regarding The EU and its damaging and odious nature during the EU elections. The Telegraph opened the way for the clowns inm EUkip who were heading for 0 to 3 or 4 MEPs reflective of their utter incompetence, dishonesty and corruption in office with 12 MEPs in 2004 and the catastrophic lack of leadership since were able to raise their profile.

The panic then started as it was Farage's last ditch hope that realising he had led his party to destruction due to his complete lack of any Officer Qualities or leadership ability raised the spectre of The BNP. Had EUkip not mentioned The BNP in ts every utterance, even stealing/sharing their campaigning concept of Churchill & WWII the BNP would have further sunk into oblivion and EUkip would have got its just deserts with 1 or 2 MEPs.

It could thus be claimed that the heroic efforets of The Telegraph (well the use of the Barclay brothers' money for no journalistic skill was required) led to the burgeoning of the utterly useless and venal EUkip and the growth of The BNP to having the mock credibility of 2 MEPs!

I for one am more impressed with the Bloggosphere's revelations such as Dr. Richard North on EU Referendum or his relentless and accurate reportage of matters military and the crass mismanagement of our troops as shown on his Defence Blog CLICK HERE

When it comes to The EU, Defence, Global Warming for starters perhaps the wanabe journalists left stranded in the office scouring the internet for stories to rewrite, as they await the new story PURCHASED by the Barclays, might care to start scavenging at this blog or one of Richard's and in their down time read some of the books written by Christopher Booker and Dr. Richard North!

Details of Richard's latest book can be seen if you CLICK HERE.

Bloggers do not have the right to keep their identities secret, High Court rules Internet bloggers do not have the right to keep their identities secret, according to a landmark High Court ruling.

By Richard Edwards, Crime Correspondent
Published: 6:55AM BST 17 Jun 2009

In the first case dealing with the privacy of bloggers, Mr Justice Eady refused to protect the anonymity of a police officer who wrote a prize-winning blog called NightJack. The officer, Richard Horton, 45, a detective constable with Lancashire Constabulary, had written a behind-the-scenes insight into policing.

He sought an injunction to prevent him being named by a newspaper, arguing that it could put him at risk of disciplinary action for breaching regulations. Mr Horton's blog ridiculed "a number of senior politicians" and advised "decent" members of the public under police investigation to "complain about every officer . . . show no respect to the legal system or anybody working in it."

He is one of around a dozen police officers to run popular blog sites, along with scores of other public servants, which anonymously document their daily life.

judge ruled that Mr Horton had no "reasonable expectation" to anonymity because "blogging is essentially a public rather than a private activity".
"It would seem to be quite legitimate for the public to be told who it was who was choosing to make, in some instances, quite serious criticisms of police activities and, if it be the case, that frequent infringements of police discipline regulations were taking place," the judge added.

As a result of him being identified to them, Lancashire Constabulary launched an investigation and issued Mr Horton with a written warning.

The blog has been removed.

NightJack had won a special award at the Orwell Prize ceremony in April, leading to speculation about its author's identity. Some of his website's entries attracted nearly half a million readers a week, including anecdotes about the cases on which he had worked.

One described an inquiry into the rape of "Melissa", a 14-year-old who was plied with alcohol and then raped in a hotel room.

Mr Horton wrote that the offender had an Asian name, had hepatitis, and assaulted the girl at a seaside hotel, while filming it on his mobile phone.

It is believed to relate to Ajmal Mohammad, who had received an indefinite sentence at Preston Crown Court for raping a drunken teenager in a Blackpool hotel room.

The court heard that he was infected with Hepatitis C, and had filmed the attack on his phone.

Mr Horton disclosed his suspicions that a key witness had misled police about her knowledge of the sex attack.

In another post entitled "A Survival Guide For Decent Folk", Mr Horton offered advice to people who found themselves the subject of a police investigation. His advice was to "complain about every officer... [and] show no respect to the legal system or anybody working in it".

A Lancashire police spokesman said: "The commentary in the blog is indeed the work of a serving Lancashire detective and clearly the views and opinions expressed are those of the author himself and not those of the wider Constabulary. "We have conducted a full internal investigation and the officer accepts that parts of his public commentary have fallen short of the standards of professional behaviour we expect of our police officers. "He has been spoken to regarding his professional behaviour and, in line with disciplinary procedures, has been issued with a written warning."

Clearly Mr. Justice Eady was wrong in his judgement, but why am I not surprised!

We the public are, as a result of Eady's perverse judgement, are the loosers.

It is interesting to note that once again Eady is inventing law to suit his puppet masters on the hoof again!

Consider: it is NOT a crime in Britain to call yourself by any name you choose. I could if I wished call myself William Shakespeare and set up in business with a web site offering a service to clear drains - it is only should I use such an identity to commit a crime or perpetrate a fraud thereby that I would be in breech of law. Perhaps since Nighthawk was neither committing a crime nor seeking to act fraudulently nor mislead for profit Eady would seem to be in breech of law under Human Rights and the right to privacy.

In this increasingly grubby society promoted by the Government whatever be its stripe and denigrated by erradication of any concept of meaningfull democracy and the revolting promotion of Political Correctness and perversion as an acceptable norm aided and abetted by men of questionable morality like Mr. Justice Eady - we the public are the losers.

I do appreciate however that it is difficult after some 60 years for prostitutes to obtain authentic Prison Camp attire from the death camps of Germany and the theatrical costumieres are not up to the standards that Oswold Mosley's London would have expected!!

I have little time for anonimous bloggers but I do concede there are examples where sources would dry up were identities known and were that the case the legitimate efforts of the whistle blowers exposing what is clearly a corrupt Police Force acting as tax collectors and enforcers for the Kleptocratic QUANGOcracy that substitutes for a Government will find their task more difficult.

It will become harder for decent men and women trying to acquit their duty to expose corruption more difficult in the light of Eady's pandering to the needs of his puppet masters.

Perhaps we should be thankfull Eady was not on the bench in the days of William Joyce or Jack Profumo! Perhaps he hopes to follow his fellow puppet the sordid and corrupt Lord Cullen of Cover-Up into The House of Lords - the dustbin for butt lickers and those who have prostituted our Country to vassal status in the EU! All 742 of them!!!

You will note that neither my Blogs nor any item I have EVER published on the internet has EVER been 'anonimouse'. I have no need to hide my identity to tell the truth ;-)

#G122* - CONSIDERING NUMBERS of ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES

#G122* - CONSIDERING NUMBERS of ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES

Hi,

Before considering howmany MPs Britain should have let us consider America & howmany they have:

President: 1 (Term Limit: 2 consecutive 4-year terms)

U.S. Senators:
100 (2 per each of 50 States; 6-year terms [divided into 3 Electoral Classes 1, 2 & 3: one full Class elected every 2 years])

U.S. Representatives: 435 (2-year terms)

2004 Electors: 538

1990 Census: 248,765,170

2000 Census: 281,998,273

Registered Voters (2000): 156,421,311

Estimated Voting age population (2000): 205,815,000

Capital: Washington, D.C.

Being a federal republic, the United States of America shares sovereign governmental power with the constituent States of the Union.

Thus, where in Britain with a population of about 60Million we have 642 MPs & 742 Members of The House of Lords eligible to sit!

Then of course when it comes to making law for Britain there are some 736 MEPs who impose law on Britain and of these only 72 are British MEPs

The EU thus administers 500 Million alleged voters in 27 vassal states with 736 MEPs who largely have no say in any democratic terms. The supra national new state is in fact run by an unelected Dictator Committee of 27.

Then in real terms consider the fact that Russia and its accolyte and satellite states are ruled in almost exactly the same manner as The EU but by one man Putin and his puppet:

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~President ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Politburo ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ EU Commission
Duma ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~EU Parliament
KGB/FSB ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~EUropol

In neither system is there any meaningful democracy.

Clearly a new style of democracy is required in preparation for when these United Kingdoms leave The EU - either due to its inevitable collapse or when British politicians are forced to represent the interests of the peoples of Britain rather than their own venal self interest.

The system of Governance in The EU has absolutely no link between the electorate voter and the pretend representative.

The systems in both The EU and clearly in The UK are deeply flawed and thus the venal self interest of British politicians has caused Britain to be a vassal state in servitude to The EU which it largely funds on a negative basis with an estimated cost/loss of £1.8 Million per hour according to the Institute of Directors or as EUkip claim some £40 Million however Lord Pearson of EUkip and Gerard Batten a EUkip MEP give different figures!

Clearly we need considerably less MPs and the number of Peers is farcical.

A figure of 300 MPs and 100 Peers would seem much more reasonable when we leave The EU however it is hard to sell the numbers as it would remove a lucrative and self serving position from:
342 MPs
636 Peers
&
72 useless British MEPs

It is hard to convince turkeys to vote for Christmas!

Let us not pretend these people are anything other than total parasites who have betrayed both the electorate and OUR Country!

Consider:

75%+ of Britain's laws are now imposed by the EU with absolutely no meaningfull democratic process.

The balance of law in Britain is imposed under Article II, Section ii which clearly states that any law must be compliant with EU law!

Thus it is clear that there is absolutely no function for MPs whilst Britain remains a vassal state in the EU.

The House of Lords is similarly corrupt in that of its 742 sitting members many function on a series of corrupt and utterly reprehensible bribes to betray Britain as they are obliged to vote FOR issues relative to The EU to retain their incomes and numerous pensions yet they are not obliged either to tell the truth or declare their interests!

There is a suitable case for every single Peer to prorogue themselves or be fired as they are to a man untrustworthy!

Proof possitive that our politicians are without exception both corrupt and venally self interested and completely useless without exception is proven by the irrefutable FACT:

Since before Britain was unlawfully subjugated to vassal status in the EU there has never been a single solitary prospective individual for elected office who has not stated before they were elected - of any party or persuasion - that the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) is completely wrong and must be changed.
You will have noted that once elected not a single solitary politician has managed to alter a single solitary phrase in The CAP. No British Politician has managed to alter a single detail in over 30 years - it can thus be argued that thus no MEP for over 30 years has achieved anything of note NOT ONE!!

When you consider that British MEPs have achieved nothing for over 30 years but the EU has imposed more laws on Britain since our entrapment less than 40 years ago than in the presceding 800 years!

Now consider the costs of all these parasites - The cost of the House of Commons alone is approximately £100 Million a year and they do absolutely nothing worthwhile between the whole raft of them for as long as we are directly ruled by our enemies in The EU.

Then consider the average MEP trousers over £1 Million in their 5 year term of office and then walk away with around £200,000 to £1/4 Million in their pension fund etc. etc.
A pension for life!!

Clearly useless fat cats!
When you consider that no MEP has any meaningfull democratic input nor do they do a stroke of meaningfull work in fact they are not even directly answerable to anyone except their own bank account and slush funds. IF they decide to do something meaningfull that is merely by choice!

Without exception MEPs are a total irrelevancy and it would alter nothing whether they turn up or do nothing at home! They have absolutely no job to do other than act as rather low grade sales reps for the utterly corrupt EU.

#G121* - $9 TRILLION, the FED.I.G's. INDIFFERENCE IS ....

#G121* - $9 TRILLION, the FED.I.G's. INDIFFERENCE IS ....

Hi,

Just sit down, take your shoes and socks off and try to count howmany Zeros are needed for $9 TRILLION - I think that is:
$9,000,000,000,000 & it is quite clear that The Federal Reserve Inspector General Elizabeth Coleman seems not to have a clue either what she is doing or what The Fed has done with $9 TRILLION.

The video clip is of The Financial Services Subcommittee of The Senate on Oversight and Investigations hearing of May 5, 2009.

In this clip Rep. Alan Grayson asks the Federal Reserve Inspector General about the trillions of dollars lent or spent by the Federal Reserve and where it went, and the trillions of off balance sheet obligations.

Inspector General Elizabeth Coleman responds that the Inspectorate does not know and is not tracking where this money is.

Rep. Alan Grayson points out and makes very clear that The Fed. seems to have lost control of $30,000 per man, woman and child in America.

Watch the video clip and you will realise just how little citizens matter in this huge Government orchestrated heist of their money:

If that didn't scare you please explain what will, especially when you consider that all the committee were talking about was the sum provided to try to bale out Lehman Brothers. Now consider just how many other areas are being baled out!

Did YOU notice in today's papers that Richard Branson has advocated that there is no effort made to bale out British Airways as the organisation is technically worthless and in a falling market!

The self serving and largely useless politicians we have are so wrapped up in stuffing their pockets from fiddled expenses and seeking out ways to keep their places at the feed bowls of Westminster.

Our MPs are even pretending that there is light at the end of the tunnel in terms of the economy - perhaps YOU can tell me what that might be based on when you realise that we no longer have the ability to feed our peoples as we are, due to the EU's CAP scam designed to fund France, we are net food importers.

Perhaps YOU can tell us all just what product we are expected to export to pay our bills as a Nation when The EU has so hamstrung or destroyed our industrial commercial base.

You will note that currently The EU is devising ways to wrest control of the financial centre of London from the hands of The British peoples and their residuaal Government with its rump powers.

Currently The Government admits to 2.8 Million unemployed! This is a fraction of the real figure - consider the huge numbers of people on Government schemes and retraining, job seekers allowances and training courses who are in real terms unemployed.

Then of course consider the staff of over 7,000 useless and parasitic QUANGOs, then consider the burgeoning numbers of politicians and their staff and the dramatic increases in the numbers of Snivil Cervants.

Britain at one time Governed about 1/3 of the planet with a fraction of the number we now have at a time when we barely Govern any aspect of what happens on our Islands as we are directly and undemocratically controlled by direct diktat of the foreign and very alien centralised supra national EU.

I believe that we can EVEN on the fantasy figures of the crooks who form our Government and have betrayed our peoples, our Country and our history - but most of all they have betrayed our children and those as yet unborn - It is my belief they will be forced to admit to over 5,000,000 unemployed by Christmas.

Currently we have almost 40% of our population in non jobs working (I use the word VERY loosely) FOR Government. A salary vote and yet in the recent elections their direct employers 'The Government' could not even persuade them to turn out and vote!

You will perhaps have noticed that our Government has so failed us that they are now unable to fund the renewal of our most important weaponry 'Trident' and they are talking of the most swinging cut backs of the army since The Crimean War - at a time when our Military resources, due to the dishonesty and corruption of our Government, The MoD and the Chiefs of The Imperial General Services, our army, navy and air forice are more stretched than they have been since VE Day 1945.

There is every possibility that 1/3 of our labour force will be out of work within 2 years and 2/3 of our population will be suffering from malnutrition - too weakened and too scared to seize back control of our country.

This does of course sound alarmist - perhaps for a moment I could ask you to consider how accurately YOU predicted the economic collapse so far, either Nationally or internationally.

Are you prepared to say with ANY certaintly that I am wrong?

The situation is so out of control and so inevitable that you will have noticed in the video clip at the start of this blog that even The US Government takes little interest in $9Trillion as it matters not in the face of the enormity of the big picture!

Good Luck!

#G120* - MPs WORK 4 U - EXPENSES CLAIMS

#120* - MPs WORK 4 U - EXPENSES CLAIMS

Hi,

MPs & MEPs are no more than scheisters on the make & the take.
Seeking to profit and gain at our expense and I can not identify a single exception.

ANY honest Politician would insist their allowances claims were displayed unredacted in any way.

It is clear that if no one else does The Telegraph holds the unredacted data – any Politician with half a brain will IMMEDIATELY publish their full, unredacted data on their own web site rather than wait for the media to publish it as some coup.

To pretend their address is redacted for security reasons is no more than a childish ruse to fiddle expenses. IF they are genuinely at risk from having their addresses known then they ARE seriously at risk as they are relatively easy to access! – clearly IF they ARE genuinely at risk then they are clearly total failures in their fundamental duty of maintaining our borders and law and order!

For your info. CLICK HERE

on here are ALL the allowance claims of all the MPs.

You can look up any MP.

The document under the terms of FOI as obtained through the Courts by Heather Brooks is a travesty of the opinion given by the law lords.

Further the Government have allowed this document to be released in the most crass and haphazard manner and it DOES NOT COMPLY with the FOI as ordered by The Courts.

The Government has done all it can to block the publication of this document – do remember that Glasgow Mick was personally responsible for this total cock up and he now walks away with a pension of £1,000,000

This is an absolute travesty of justice and obscene insult of the electorate by their paid servants.

The redactions on the documents make them all but useless and are against the letter and the spirit of the law as handed down by every Court the Governm, ent tried to hide behind.

They must have a huge amount to hide for them to have so flagrantly ignored the Court judgements and the wishes of the peoples.

We must also note that the liars, bunglers and crooks who took Britain to war in Iraq based on their personal ambitions and utterly dishonest intelligence and a series of lies now wish to hold an enquiry with their CHOSEN dissemblers and hold the white wash in secret.

This Government is a disgrace – as are the opposition who have little or no willingness tocarry out their duty as an opposition nor the integrity to carry out their basic duties.

I am forced to the conclusion that as a generalisation it is safe top describe ALL MPs & MEPs as a shower of scheisters – liars and crooks on the make and the take – representing their own best interests in complete abrogation of their duties to represent the best interests of the electorate.

Complaint to police regarding pornography
on the internet,
& The Subsequent Saga!

Log No 455

18th-Apr-2009:

My wife was doing some medical research on the early signs of a heart attack. Then went to try and find a good medical diagram of the heart on Google Images, only to be confronted, having miss spelt the search >Heart Atack< with a some what explicit and offensive image of a, not surprisingly looking distressed, naked man being raped by a dog, whilst surrounded by an audience and those goading on the dog!.

19th-Apr-2009,. [evening]

I reported the image to Cwmbran call centre [01291 - 62 3993] they said they could not deal with the matter.

I phoned the Met, they also said they could not deal with it, but gave us an agency telephone no. & details to contact.

I got hold of the agency
(Internet Watch Foundation at http://www.iwf.org.uk/)
I filled in their forms on line & then advised the call centre accordingly.

We were away for a few days – on our return I received an acknowledgement from IWF I checked on line and the image was still there!

I phoned IWF +- 24th. they said they would look into it and try to have the image removed.

Should take about five to seven working days.

05-May-2009 C1750hrs.

Image still on the internet C1750hrs. called call centre Reported image again Cwmbran call centre.

WPC seemed more interested in me and my details than the offence!

She was very needlessly officious!

She then said she would have to refer it to Chepstow.

I told her not to waste their time, as there wasn’t much they could do about it either, it would have to go up the tree rather than down. She insisted that, that was the way it was done and when I explained that we had gone through this before and it would only end up back on her door step. She became aggressive so I left it at that.

05-May-2009 C18.10hrs.

Phone call from Chepstow Police, “What did you call the police for?”
He was aggressive and confrontational from the get go!

G.L-W. “I wanted to report a pornographic image on the internet”

The PC: “We are not interested what is on the internet”.
“If you want to look for sordid images, that’s your problem”
“We don’t deal with pornography it has nothing to do with us.”

G.L-W. “So you don’t deal with Paedophilia & child abuse?”

PC “I did not say that”
From there on in the conversation became more and more confrontational. He was so unwilling to listen, that I never did get the opportunity to explain what I was reporting or why. So I decided that this was a pointless exercise and tried to politely terminate the conversation.

He continued to argue so I hung up, saying to my wife “idiot” or "what an idiot", as I did so, this seems too have been over heard!

His entire approach was aggressive, ill-mannered and confrontational from word go, he made no attempt to introduce him self just launched in to a tirade.

C18.21hrs.

Police bashing the front doors, for C4 mins.

C18.26hrs.

Received a call from the police saying the police were outside and demanded that we open the door.

I declined, stating that I did not want any further confrontation or dealing with this police officer, as he was obviously in a very aggressive mood and looking for a fight.

My wife and I did not want unnecessary confrontation, when all we were trying to do was our civic duty and report an offence.

He then proceeded around the outside of the building and started kicking another door.

I am convinced he was kicking it and had our outer door not been 1.1/2” angle iron, 2”solid wood, 1/8” sheet steel and 1/2” marine ply clad I believe he would have smashed the door and would clearly have broken a conventional front door.

05-May-2009 C18.26hrs.

I Called & asked for the duty Sgt. line rang and rang then the line was cut.

C18.27hrs.

I phoned Cwmbran again, spoke to a female officer who said the Sgt was out, she would take the details and pass them on and he would get back to us.

05-May-2009 C19.05hrs.

I spoke again to Call Centre as on reflection I may be wrong , Cwmbran is not a police matter re call centre perhaps.

05-May-2009 C1930hrs.

Call center rang back spoke to Carl.

I provided a full time log of events so far.

He apologised and asked 'if we would like to put in an official complaint'.

I said 'no just a warning would do and I obviously still wanted the image removed'.

Carl undertook to speak with my initial contact and advise further training!
Speak with Chepstow Inspector and have The PC cautioned, admonished and it entered on his personnel file.
No further contact with me – no further apology needed on his assurance that these steps would be taken.

I stated that IF Chepstow Insp. Wished me to formalise the complaint I was willing to assist.

06-May-2009.

Lee (my wife) went to collect the post, only to discover an official police note pushed through the letter box.

The Official Message 'accusing me of being in possession of an extreme image and wasting police time and stating that he would be applying for an arrest warrant. Signed PC 1195 Andy Marriner (The Idiot)' I was pleased he was being so honest and had learned something!

I believe the written message was abusive, illiterate, intemperate and threatening.

There is the clear statement of intent designed to intimidate.
I do agree with him he is clearly an Idiot!

My wife, due to past personal experience and having lived in a police state, was very upset, she was indeed intimidated, to the extent of being frightened.

I have made various people aware of this matter BEFORE making my next call as I now feel, since I am being accused of 'deliberately downloading extreme images of bestiality and wasting police time and threatened with a warrant to break into my home by force' – presumably to arrest me and seize my computers, it is a very small step to the actions being carried out and an out of control police force using a ‘memory stick’ to upload a quantity of child porn onto my computers and then charge me with child abuse.

I am aware of numerous cases where the police have murdered innocent citizens and received promotion! For specific details CLICK HERE 0r: http://gl-w.blogspot.com/2009/04/g092-yellow-tabard-you-are-above-law.html
Every single person murdered by the Police is an innocent victim as in these United Kingdoms a death penalty is not authorised under ANY circumstances.

06-May-2009 C18.02hrs.

I phoned The Call centre and spoke to, Sonja Jones, [Gwent] explained the situation and asked her if she could make enquires and stop the warrant of arrest.

She said she would take the relevant steps and she would get back to me before she went off duty at 19.00hrs., if she was unable to she would brief the next supervisor on handover and the next supervisor would call me, speak to her supervisor and he would get back to us.

C18.17hrs.
I was asked for a copy of the compliment slip, sent by Email to [PNN.Police.U.K] C18.17hrs.

To protect myself contacted Jennifer Wiley (London) and appraised her of what was going on.

C18.22hrs.
Likewise Daniel Foggo (London)

C1827hrs.
Simon Muir (Bristol) and others.

Increasingly the police have shown themselves to be the enemy of the public and NOT their protection, with out of control murder squads operating unchallenged and YES I have read the Terrorism Act and am aware of the abuses that are already taking place under that corrupt cloak.

I also have a conversancy with the excesses of Corpus Juris, The EU arrest warrant scam, Europol, C10 etc. etc.

C19.15hrs.

Having heard nothing and aware I could still face an armed police officer at C06.00hrs. with a warrant and a chav attitude, willing to kill, I Called back to the Call Centre to confirm if they had managed to stop the warrant.

Sonya Jones had gone of duty on 3 days rest period and there was no supervisor due to sickness (thus I believed no handover!).

I was transferred to The Control Centre Cwmbran and spoke at some length AGAIN with Cath Bamford [Sgt?] repeated the whole story.

She said she would relate it in detail to the duty inspector and promised she or the duty inspector would call me back within the hour and explain what steps they were taking.

C19.27hrs.

Return call from Cath Bamford and Duty inspector to say the matter was being referred to Abergavenny Police station Sgt. Trevor YANDLE who was responsible across the force for this sort of matter or if I preferred an Inspector would deal with it tomorrow.

I was happy that a senior Sgt. With experience would deal with it.

C20.23hrs.

Call from Sgt. Trevor Yandle [Abergavenny Police station], had to explain the whole situation again.

Sgt. TY Rang back to give us his No. 01495 232 377

He has undertaken to put a stay on ANY action before going off duty.

He is away taking an exam tomorrow and on his return will address the matter in detail.

He asked me for my opinion etc.

I stated that I did not consider the matter serious but VERY Serious as this officer was clearly aggressive and out of control.

I believed that a block should be put on him ever being arms trained, his file should carry this mater in full detail and it should be considered whether it was appropriate to have such an individual in the Queen’s uniform.

I left it to The Chepstow Inspector, but if this man was a serial pain, they had been unable to find due cause sufficient to remove, I was more than willing to make a full blown complaint to ensure he could be fired.

I also requested that Chepstow Insp. Informed me what action he had taken and that he apologise on behalf of his officer.

11-May-2009

I believe this was the date on which Sgt. TC contacted me and asked if he could send someone, or come himself to collect the original of the Official Message from PC Marriner (The Idiot) as his Inspe ctor had asked for it to present to Marriner when he was interviewed later in the week.

I declined to supply the original as I do not believe that there is ANY justification for trusting The Police - I did again supply a scanned copy of the Message.

TO DATE 20-Jun-2009

I have had no further contact from The Police on this matter since that date over one month ago.

I had hoped that the Police could manage to get a simple duty right but clearly not.

I was promised a verbal explanation with details and a written apology - NEITHER has occurred.

I now feel this matter has been kept quiet to permit the Police to get their act together for quite long enough.

You can check ANY of the facts herein, you may pass on the URL, you may publish as you wish altering none of the details or facts provided here and you may post this to your own web site or police force as an object lesson.

I have this morning checked on Google Images >Heart Atack< with a single 't' and the image concerned seems no longer to be on this site in the first 45 pages.

Clearly if the Police are unable to keep their own house in order they clearly have surrendered their right to issue orders to us THEIR EMPLOYERS.

This is not an isolated example of crass incompetence and ill mannered stupidity fro the Police that I have experienced and made public. The last was published in detail regarding The Chepstow Police Inspector and his thoughtless incompetence some time ago regarding a 'claimed' male rape and the idiotic and abusive comments of DC Williams which are shown in comments on The Free Press at the time!

G118* - OBAMA SPEECH in CAIRO

THE WHITE HOUSE

Office of the Press Secretary
(Cairo,Egypt)
________________________________________________
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE June 4, 2009

REMARKS BY THE PRESIDENT
ON A NEW BEGINNING

Cairo University
Cairo, Egypt

1:10 P.M. (Local)
PRESIDENT OBAMA: Thank you very much. Good afternoon. I am honored to be in the timeless city of Cairo, and to be hosted by two remarkable institutions. For over a thousand years, Al-Azhar has stood as a beacon of Islamic learning; and for over a century, Cairo University has been a source of Egypt's advancement. And together, you represent the harmony between tradition and progress. I'm grateful for your hospitality, and the hospitality of the people of Egypt. And I'm also proud to carry with me the goodwill of the American people, and a greeting of peace from Muslim communities in my country: Assalaamu alaykum. (Applause.)

We meet at a time of great tension between the United States and Muslims around the world -- tension rooted in historical forces that go beyond any current policy debate. The relationship between Islam and the West includes centuries of coexistence and cooperation, but also conflict and religious wars. More recently, tension has been fed by colonialism that denied rights and opportunities to many Muslims, and a Cold War in which Muslim-majority countries were too often treated as proxies without regard to their own aspirations. Moreover, the sweeping change brought by modernity and globalization led many Muslims to view the West as hostile to the traditions of Islam.

Violent extremists have exploited these tensions in a small but potent minority of Muslims. The attacks of September 11, 2001 and the continued efforts of these extremists to engage in violence against civilians has led some in my country to view Islam as inevitably hostile not only to America and Western countries, but also to human rights. All this has bred more fear and more mistrust.

So long as our relationship is defined by our differences, we will empower those who sow hatred rather than peace, those who promote conflict rather than the cooperation that can help all of our people achieve justice and prosperity. And this cycle of suspicion and discord must end.

I've come here to Cairo to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world, one based on mutual interest and mutual respect, and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles -- principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings.

I do so recognizing that change cannot happen overnight. I know there's been a lot of publicity about this speech, but no single speech can eradicate years of mistrust, nor can I answer in the time that I have this afternoon all the complex questions that brought us to this point. But I am convinced that in order to move forward, we must say openly to each other the things we hold in our hearts and that too often are said only behind closed doors. There must be a sustained effort to listen to each other; to learn from each other; to respect one another; and to seek common ground. As the Holy Koran tells us, "Be conscious of God and speak always the truth." (Applause.) That is what I will try to do today -- to speak the truth as best I can, humbled by the task before us, and firm in my belief that the interests we share as human beings are far more powerful than the forces that drive us apart.

Now part of this conviction is rooted in my own experience. I'm a Christian, but my father came from a Kenyan family that includes generations of Muslims. As a boy, I spent several years in Indonesia and heard the call of the azaan at the break of dawn and at the fall of dusk. As a young man, I worked in Chicago communities where many found dignity and peace in their Muslim faith.

As a student of history, I also know civilization's debt to Islam. It was Islam -- at places like Al-Azhar -- that carried the light of learning through so many centuries, paving the way for Europe's Renaissance and Enlightenment. It was innovation in Muslim communities -- (applause) -- it was innovation in Muslim communities that developed the order of algebra; our magnetic compass and tools of navigation; our mastery of pens and printing; our understanding of how disease spreads and how it can be healed. Islamic culture has given us majestic arches and soaring spires; timeless poetry and cherished music; elegant calligraphy and places of peaceful contemplation. And throughout history, Islam has demonstrated through words and deeds the possibilities of religious tolerance and racial equality. (Applause.)

I also know that Islam has always been a part of America's story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President, John Adams, wrote, "The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims." And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States. They have fought in our wars, they have served in our government, they have stood for civil rights, they have started businesses, they have taught at our universities, they've excelled in our sports arenas, they've won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. And when the first Muslim American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Koran that one of our Founding Fathers -- Thomas Jefferson -- kept in his personal library. (Applause.)

So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn't. And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear. (Applause.)

But that same principle must apply to Muslim perceptions of America. (Applause.) Just as Muslims do not fit a crude stereotype, America is not the crude stereotype of a self-interested empire. The United States has been one of the greatest sources of progress that the world has ever known. We were born out of revolution against an empire. We were founded upon the ideal that all are created equal, and we have shed blood and struggled for centuries to give meaning to those words -- within our borders, and around the world. We are shaped by every culture, drawn from every end of the Earth, and dedicated to a simple concept: E pluribus unum -- "Out of many, one."

Now, much has been made of the fact that an African American with the name Barack Hussein Obama could be elected President. (Applause.) But my personal story is not so unique. The dream of opportunity for all people has not come true for everyone in America, but its promise exists for all who come to our shores -- and that includes nearly 7 million American Muslims in our country today who, by the way, enjoy incomes and educational levels that are higher than the American average. (Applause.)

Moreover, freedom in America is indivisible from the freedom to practice one's religion. That is why there is a mosque in every state in our union, and over 1,200 mosques within our borders. That's why the United States government has gone to court to protect the right of women and girls to wear the hijab and to punish those who would deny it. (Applause.)

So let there be no doubt: Islam is a part of America. And I believe that America holds within her the truth that regardless of race, religion, or station in life, all of us share common aspirations -- to live in peace and security; to get an education and to work with dignity; to love our families, our communities, and our God. These things we share. This is the hope of all humanity.

Of course, recognizing our common humanity is only the beginning of our task. Words alone cannot meet the needs of our people. These needs will be met only if we act boldly in the years ahead; and if we understand that the challenges we face are shared, and our failure to meet them will hurt us all.

For we have learned from recent experience that when a financial system weakens in one country, prosperity is hurt everywhere. When a new flu infects one human being, all are at risk. When one nation pursues a nuclear weapon, the risk of nuclear attack rises for all nations. When violent extremists operate in one stretch of mountains, people are endangered across an ocean. When innocents in Bosnia and Darfur are slaughtered, that is a stain on our collective conscience. (Applause.) That is what it means to share this world in the 21st century. That is the responsibility we have to one another as human beings.

And this is a difficult responsibility to embrace. For human history has often been a record of nations and tribes -- and, yes, religions -- subjugating one another in pursuit of their own interests. Yet in this new age, such attitudes are self-defeating. Given our interdependence, any world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will inevitably fail. So whatever we think of the past, we must not be prisoners to it. Our problems must be dealt with through partnership; our progress must be shared. (Applause.)

Now, that does not mean we should ignore sources of tension. Indeed, it suggests the opposite: We must face these tensions squarely. And so in that spirit, let me speak as clearly and as plainly as I can about some specific issues that I believe we must finally confront together.

The first issue that we have to confront is violent extremism in all of its forms.

In Ankara, I made clear that America is not -- and never will be -- at war with Islam. (Applause.) We will, however, relentlessly confront violent extremists who pose a grave threat to our security -- because we reject the same thing that people of all faiths reject: the killing of innocent men, women, and children. And it is my first duty as President to protect the American people.

The situation in Afghanistan demonstrates America's goals, and our need to work together. Over seven years ago, the United States pursued al Qaeda and the Taliban with broad international support. We did not go by choice; we went because of necessity. I'm aware that there's still some who would question or even justify the events of 9/11. But let us be clear: Al Qaeda killed nearly 3,000 people on that day. The victims were innocent men, women and children from America and many other nations who had done nothing to harm anybody. And yet al Qaeda chose to ruthlessly murder these people, claimed credit for the attack, and even now states their determination to kill on a massive scale. They have affiliates in many countries and are trying to expand their reach. These are not opinions to be debated; these are facts to be dealt with.

Now, make no mistake: We do not want to keep our troops in Afghanistan. We see no military -- we seek no military bases there. It is agonizing for America to lose our young men and women. It is costly and politically difficult to continue this conflict. We would gladly bring every single one of our troops home if we could be confident that there were not violent extremists in Afghanistan and now Pakistan determined to kill as many Americans as they possibly can. But that is not yet the case.

And that's why we're partnering with a coalition of 46 countries. And despite the costs involved, America's commitment will not weaken. Indeed, none of us should tolerate these extremists. They have killed in many countries. They have killed people of different faiths -- but more than any other, they have killed Muslims. Their actions are irreconcilable with the rights of human beings, the progress of nations, and with Islam. The Holy Koran teaches that whoever kills an innocent is as -- it is as if he has killed all mankind. (Applause.) And the Holy Koran also says whoever saves a person, it is as if he has saved all mankind. (Applause.) The enduring faith of over a billion people is so much bigger than the narrow hatred of a few. Islam is not part of the problem in combating violent extremism -- it is an important part of promoting peace.

Now, we also know that military power alone is not going to solve the problems in Afghanistan and Pakistan. That's why we plan to invest $1.5 billion each year over the next five years to partner with Pakistanis to build schools and hospitals, roads and businesses, and hundreds of millions to help those who've been displaced. That's why we are providing more than $2.8 billion to help Afghans develop their economy and deliver services that people depend on.

Let me also address the issue of Iraq. Unlike Afghanistan, Iraq was a war of choice that provoked strong differences in my country and around the world. Although I believe that the Iraqi people are ultimately better off without the tyranny of Saddam Hussein, I also believe that events in Iraq have reminded America of the need to use diplomacy and build international consensus to resolve our problems whenever possible. (Applause.) Indeed, we can recall the words of Thomas Jefferson, who said: "I hope that our wisdom will grow with our power, and teach us that the less we use our power the greater it will be."

Today, America has a dual responsibility: to help Iraq forge a better future -- and to leave Iraq to Iraqis. And I have made it clear to the Iraqi people -- (applause) -- I have made it clear to the Iraqi people that we pursue no bases, and no claim on their territory or resources. Iraq's sovereignty is its own. And that's why I ordered the removal of our combat brigades by next August. That is why we will honor our agreement with Iraq's democratically elected government to remove combat troops from Iraqi cities by July, and to remove all of our troops from Iraq by 2012. (Applause.) We will help Iraq train its security forces and develop its economy. But we will support a secure and united Iraq as a partner, and never as a patron.

And finally, just as America can never tolerate violence by extremists, we must never alter or forget our principles. Nine-eleven was an enormous trauma to our country. The fear and anger that it provoked was understandable, but in some cases, it led us to act contrary to our traditions and our ideals. We are taking concrete actions to change course. I have unequivocally prohibited the use of torture by the United States, and I have ordered the prison at Guantanamo Bay closed by early next year. (Applause.)

So America will defend itself, respectful of the sovereignty of nations and the rule of law. And we will do so in partnership with Muslim communities which are also threatened. The sooner the extremists are isolated and unwelcome in Muslim communities, the sooner we will all be safer.

The second major source of tension that we need to discuss is the situation between Israelis, Palestinians and the Arab world.

America's strong bonds with Israel are well known. This bond is unbreakable. It is based upon cultural and historical ties, and the recognition that the aspiration for a Jewish homeland is rooted in a tragic history that cannot be denied.

Around the world, the Jewish people were persecuted for centuries, and anti-Semitism in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust. Tomorrow, I will visit Buchenwald, which was part of a network of camps where Jews were enslaved, tortured, shot and gassed to death by the Third Reich. Six million Jews were killed -- more than the entire Jewish population of Israel today. Denying that fact is baseless, it is ignorant, and it is hateful. Threatening Israel with destruction -- or repeating vile stereotypes about Jews -- is deeply wrong, and only serves to evoke in the minds of Israelis this most painful of memories while preventing the peace that the people of this region deserve.

On the other hand, it is also undeniable that the Palestinian people -- Muslims and Christians -- have suffered in pursuit of a homeland. For more than 60 years they've endured the pain of dislocation. Many wait in refugee camps in the West Bank, Gaza, and neighboring lands for a life of peace and security that they have never been able to lead. They endure the daily humiliations -- large and small -- that come with occupation. So let there be no doubt: The situation for the Palestinian people is intolerable. And America will not turn our backs on the legitimate Palestinian aspiration for dignity, opportunity, and a state of their own. (Applause.)

For decades then, there has been a stalemate: two peoples with legitimate aspirations, each with a painful history that makes compromise elusive. It's easy to point fingers -- for Palestinians to point to the displacement brought about by Israel's founding, and for Israelis to point to the constant hostility and attacks throughout its history from within its borders as well as beyond. But if we see this conflict only from one side or the other, then we will be blind to the truth: The only resolution is for the aspirations of both sides to be met through two states, where Israelis and Palestinians each live in peace and security. (Applause.)

That is in Israel's interest, Palestine's interest, America's interest, and the world's interest. And that is why I intend to personally pursue this outcome with all the patience and dedication that the task requires. (Applause.) The obligations -- the obligations that the parties have agreed to under the road map are clear. For peace to come, it is time for them -- and all of us -- to live up to our responsibilities.

Palestinians must abandon violence. Resistance through violence and killing is wrong and it does not succeed. For centuries, black people in America suffered the lash of the whip as slaves and the humiliation of segregation. But it was not violence that won full and equal rights. It was a peaceful and determined insistence upon the ideals at the center of America's founding. This same story can be told by people from South Africa to South Asia; from Eastern Europe to Indonesia. It's a story with a simple truth: that violence is a dead end. It is a sign neither of courage nor power to shoot rockets at sleeping children, or to blow up old women on a bus. That's not how moral authority is claimed; that's how it is surrendered.

Now is the time for Palestinians to focus on what they can build. The Palestinian Authority must develop its capacity to govern, with institutions that serve the needs of its people. Hamas does have support among some Palestinians, but they also have to recognize they have responsibilities. To play a role in fulfilling Palestinian aspirations, to unify the Palestinian people, Hamas must put an end to violence, recognize past agreements, recognize Israel's right to exist.

At the same time, Israelis must acknowledge that just as Israel's right to exist cannot be denied, neither can Palestine's. The United States does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements. (Applause.) This construction violates previous agreements and undermines efforts to achieve peace. It is time for these settlements to stop. (Applause.)

And Israel must also live up to its obligation to ensure that Palestinians can live and work and develop their society. Just as it devastates Palestinian families, the continuing humanitarian crisis in Gaza does not serve Israel's security; neither does the continuing lack of opportunity in the West Bank. Progress in the daily lives of the Palestinian people must be a critical part of a road to peace, and Israel must take concrete steps to enable such progress.

And finally, the Arab states must recognize that the Arab Peace Initiative was an important beginning, but not the end of their responsibilities. The Arab-Israeli conflict should no longer be used to distract the people of Arab nations from other problems. Instead, it must be a cause for action to help the Palestinian people develop the institutions that will sustain their state, to recognize Israel's legitimacy, and to choose progress over a self-defeating focus on the past.

America will align our policies with those who pursue peace, and we will say in public what we say in private to Israelis and Palestinians and Arabs. (Applause.) We cannot impose peace. But privately, many Muslims recognize that Israel will not go away. Likewise, many Israelis recognize the need for a Palestinian state. It is time for us to act on what everyone knows to be true.

Too many tears have been shed. Too much blood has been shed. All of us have a responsibility to work for the day when the mothers of Israelis and Palestinians can see their children grow up without fear; when the Holy Land of the three great faiths is the place of peace that God intended it to be; when Jerusalem is a secure and lasting home for Jews and Christians and Muslims, and a place for all of the children of Abraham to mingle peacefully together as in the story of Isra -- (applause) -- as in the story of Isra, when Moses, Jesus, and Mohammed, peace be upon them, joined in prayer. (Applause.)

The third source of tension is our shared interest in the rights and responsibilities of nations on nuclear weapons.

This issue has been a source of tension between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. For many years, Iran has defined itself in part by its opposition to my country, and there is in fact a tumultuous history between us. In the middle of the Cold War, the United States played a role in the overthrow of a democratically elected Iranian government. Since the Islamic Revolution, Iran has played a role in acts of hostage-taking and violence against U.S. troops and civilians. This history is well known. Rather than remain trapped in the past, I've made it clear to Iran's leaders and people that my country is prepared to move forward. The question now is not what Iran is against, but rather what future it wants to build.

I recognize it will be hard to overcome decades of mistrust, but we will proceed with courage, rectitude, and resolve. There will be many issues to discuss between our two countries, and we are willing to move forward without preconditions on the basis of mutual respect. But it is clear to all concerned that when it comes to nuclear weapons, we have reached a decisive point. This is not simply about America's interests. It's about preventing a nuclear arms race in the Middle East that could lead this region and the world down a hugely dangerous path.

I understand those who protest that some countries have weapons that others do not. No single nation should pick and choose which nation holds nuclear weapons. And that's why I strongly reaffirmed America's commitment to seek a world in which no nations hold nuclear weapons. (Applause.) And any nation -- including Iran -- should have the right to access peaceful nuclear power if it complies with its responsibilities under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. That commitment is at the core of the treaty, and it must be kept for all who fully abide by it. And I'm hopeful that all countries in the region can share in this goal.

The fourth issue that I will address is democracy. (Applause.)

I know -- I know there has been controversy about the promotion of democracy in recent years, and much of this controversy is connected to the war in Iraq. So let me be clear: No system of government can or should be imposed by one nation by any other.

That does not lessen my commitment, however, to governments that reflect the will of the people. Each nation gives life to this principle in its own way, grounded in the traditions of its own people. America does not presume to know what is best for everyone, just as we would not presume to pick the outcome of a peaceful election. But I do have an unyielding belief that all people yearn for certain things: the ability to speak your mind and have a say in how you are governed; confidence in the rule of law and the equal administration of justice; government that is transparent and doesn't steal from the people; the freedom to live as you choose. These are not just American ideas; they are human rights. And that is why we will support them everywhere. (Applause.)

Now, there is no straight line to realize this promise. But this much is clear: Governments that protect these rights are ultimately more stable, successful and secure. Suppressing ideas never succeeds in making them go away. America respects the right of all peaceful and law-abiding voices to be heard around the world, even if we disagree with them. And we will welcome all elected, peaceful governments -- provided they govern with respect for all their people.

This last point is important because there are some who advocate for democracy only when they're out of power; once in power, they are ruthless in suppressing the rights of others. (Applause.) So no matter where it takes hold, government of the people and by the people sets a single standard for all who would hold power: You must maintain your power through consent, not coercion; you must respect the rights of minorities, and participate with a spirit of tolerance and compromise; you must place the interests of your people and the legitimate workings of the political process above your party. Without these ingredients, elections alone do not make true democracy.

AUDIENCE MEMBER: Barack Obama, we love you!

PRESIDENT OBAMA: Thank you. (Applause.) The fifth issue that we must address together is religious freedom.

Islam has a proud tradition of tolerance. We see it in the history of Andalusia and Cordoba during the Inquisition. I saw it firsthand as a child in Indonesia, where devout Christians worshiped freely in an overwhelmingly Muslim country. That is the spirit we need today. People in every country should be free to choose and live their faith based upon the persuasion of the mind and the heart and the soul. This tolerance is essential for religion to thrive, but it's being challenged in many different ways.

Among some Muslims, there's a disturbing tendency to measure one's own faith by the rejection of somebody else's faith. The richness of religious diversity must be upheld -- whether it is for Maronites in Lebanon or the Copts in Egypt. (Applause.) And if we are being honest, fault lines must be closed among Muslims, as well, as the divisions between Sunni and Shia have led to tragic violence, particularly in Iraq.

Freedom of religion is central to the ability of peoples to live together. We must always examine the ways in which we protect it. For instance, in the United States, rules on charitable giving have made it harder for Muslims to fulfill their religious obligation. That's why I'm committed to working with American Muslims to ensure that they can fulfill zakat.

Likewise, it is important for Western countries to avoid impeding Muslim citizens from practicing religion as they see fit -- for instance, by dictating what clothes a Muslim woman should wear. We can't disguise hostility towards any religion behind the pretence of liberalism.

In fact, faith should bring us together. And that's why we're forging service projects in America to bring together Christians, Muslims, and Jews. That's why we welcome efforts like Saudi Arabian King Abdullah's interfaith dialogue and Turkey's leadership in the Alliance of Civilizations. Around the world, we can turn dialogue into interfaith service, so bridges between peoples lead to action -- whether it is combating malaria in Africa, or providing relief after a natural disaster.

The sixth issue -- the sixth issue that I want to address is women's rights. (Applause.) I know –- I know -- and you can tell from this audience, that there is a healthy debate about this issue. I reject the view of some in the West that a woman who chooses to cover her hair is somehow less equal, but I do believe that a woman who is denied an education is denied equality. (Applause.) And it is no coincidence that countries where women are well educated are far more likely to be prosperous.

Now, let me be clear: Issues of women's equality are by no means simply an issue for Islam. In Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, we've seen Muslim-majority countries elect a woman to lead. Meanwhile, the struggle for women's equality continues in many aspects of American life, and in countries around the world.

I am convinced that our daughters can contribute just as much to society as our sons. (Applause.) Our common prosperity will be advanced by allowing all humanity -- men and women -- to reach their full potential. I do not believe that women must make the same choices as men in order to be equal, and I respect those women who choose to live their lives in traditional roles. But it should be their choice. And that is why the United States will partner with any Muslim-majority country to support expanded literacy for girls, and to help young women pursue employment through micro-financing that helps people live their dreams. (Applause.)

Finally, I want to discuss economic development and opportunity.

I know that for many, the face of globalization is contradictory. The Internet and television can bring knowledge and information, but also offensive sexuality and mindless violence into the home. Trade can bring new wealth and opportunities, but also huge disruptions and change in communities. In all nations -- including America -- this change can bring fear. Fear that because of modernity we lose control over our economic choices, our politics, and most importantly our identities -- those things we most cherish about our communities, our families, our traditions, and our faith.

But I also know that human progress cannot be denied. There need not be contradictions between development and tradition. Countries like Japan and South Korea grew their economies enormously while maintaining distinct cultures. The same is true for the astonishing progress within Muslim-majority countries from Kuala Lumpur to Dubai. In ancient times and in our times, Muslim communities have been at the forefront of innovation and education.

And this is important because no development strategy can be based only upon what comes out of the ground, nor can it be sustained while young people are out of work. Many Gulf states have enjoyed great wealth as a consequence of oil, and some are beginning to focus it on broader development. But all of us must recognize that education and innovation will be the currency of the 21st century -- (applause) -- and in too many Muslim communities, there remains underinvestment in these areas. I'm emphasizing such investment within my own country. And while America in the past has focused on oil and gas when it comes to this part of the world, we now seek a broader engagement.

On education, we will expand exchange programs, and increase scholarships, like the one that brought my father to America. (Applause.) At the same time, we will encourage more Americans to study in Muslim communities. And we will match promising Muslim students with internships in America; invest in online learning for teachers and children around the world; and create a new online network, so a young person in Kansas can communicate instantly with a young person in Cairo.

On economic development, we will create a new corps of business volunteers to partner with counterparts in Muslim-majority countries. And I will host a Summit on Entrepreneurship this year to identify how we can deepen ties between business leaders, foundations and social entrepreneurs in the United States and Muslim communities around the world.

On science and technology, we will launch a new fund to support technological development in Muslim-majority countries, and to help transfer ideas to the marketplace so they can create more jobs. We'll open centers of scientific excellence in Africa, the Middle East and Southeast Asia, and appoint new science envoys to collaborate on programs that develop new sources of energy, create green jobs, digitize records, clean water, grow new crops. Today I'm announcing a new global effort with the Organization of the Islamic Conference to eradicate polio. And we will also expand partnerships with Muslim communities to promote child and maternal health.

All these things must be done in partnership. Americans are ready to join with citizens and governments; community organizations, religious leaders, and businesses in Muslim communities around the world to help our people pursue a better life.

The issues that I have described will not be easy to address. But we have a responsibility to join together on behalf of the world that we seek -- a world where extremists no longer threaten our people, and American troops have come home; a world where Israelis and Palestinians are each secure in a state of their own, and nuclear energy is used for peaceful purposes; a world where governments serve their citizens, and the rights of all God's children are respected. Those are mutual interests. That is the world we seek. But we can only achieve it together.

I know there are many -- Muslim and non-Muslim -- who question whether we can forge this new beginning. Some are eager to stoke the flames of division, and to stand in the way of progress. Some suggest that it isn't worth the effort -- that we are fated to disagree, and civilizations are doomed to clash. Many more are simply skeptical that real change can occur. There's so much fear, so much mistrust that has built up over the years. But if we choose to be bound by the past, we will never move forward. And I want to particularly say this to young people of every faith, in every country -- you, more than anyone, have the ability to reimagine the world, to remake this world.

All of us share this world for but a brief moment in time. The question is whether we spend that time focused on what pushes us apart, or whether we commit ourselves to an effort -- a sustained effort -- to find common ground, to focus on the future we seek for our children, and to respect the dignity of all human beings.

It's easier to start wars than to end them. It's easier to blame others than to look inward. It's easier to see what is different about someone than to find the things we share. But we should choose the right path, not just the easy path. There's one rule that lies at the heart of every religion -- that we do unto others as we would have them do unto us. (Applause.) This truth transcends nations and peoples -- a belief that isn't new; that isn't black or white or brown; that isn't Christian or Muslim or Jew. It's a belief that pulsed in the cradle of civilization, and that still beats in the hearts of billions around the world. It's a faith in other people, and it's what brought me here today.

We have the power to make the world we seek, but only if we have the courage to make a new beginning, keeping in mind what has been written.

The Holy Koran tells us: "O mankind! We have created you male and a female; and we have made you into nations and tribes so that you may know one another."

The Talmud tells us: "The whole of the Torah is for the purpose of promoting peace."

The Holy Bible tells us: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." (Applause.)

The people of the world can live together in peace. We know that is God's vision. Now that must be our work here on Earth.

Thank you. And may God's peace be upon you. Thank you very much. Thank you. (Applause.)

‘The arrogance and hubris of corrupt politicians
will be responsible for every drop of blood spilt
in the Wars of Disassociation, if Britain does not
leave the EU.

British Politicians with pens and treachery, in pursuit
of their own agenda and greed, have done more
damage to the liberty, freedoms, rights and democracy
of the British peoples than any army in over 1,000 years.

The disastrous effects of British politicians selling Britain
into the thrall of foreign rule by the EU for their own
personal rewards has damaged the well-being of Britain
more than the armies of Hitler
and the Franco - German - Italian axis of 1939 - 1945.
